Running the Country seems to be a bit harder than it looks on The West Wing. Obama seems to think those were training videos for his new job.

". . . it should be trimmed by tens of billions of dollars. "Uh, no. It should be trimmed hundreds of billions. If the Republicans are talking tens, we're doomed.
"Mr Obama has again warned that the US economy faces "catastrophe" if exceptional measures are not taken. "
Hussein has become quite agitated of late. But Reid told him he would have it for next Thursday as The Obamunnist demanded. Why does Baraculus insist on that date? Why, it's Lincoln's Birthday. Another propaganda opportunity for virtue by association.

It should be trimmed 800-900 billion dollars, and then disappear. $900,000,000,000 to the 0 power.

"
Was it Juan Williams?" No, it was some writer at the Washington Post, but it does sound like something Juan would say.

Pretty much amazing. The cost of government being what it is - pre-stimulus - you would think they could at least take the time to read what they are enacting into law.

It could go either way. If the economy tanks then those who were against will start saying they wanted something done...this will become GOP=obstructionist attitude and of course it began under Bush. I just don’t know what will happen.

I like the line by line review. And the useless MSM should spend the time/effort exposing the pork that they wasted harassing Sarah Palin’s family.

The only "catastrophe" in delaying this bill for further review is all the bribery to Obama's buddies is on hold
It's a shame the U.S. Senate wants to look into the suitcase of cash and ask where it's supposed to go and why.
How's a Chicago crook like Obama supposed to pay out kickbacks under scrutiny like that?

Thanks ChetNavVet, missed this one.
500,000 private sector jobs were purged last month alone
Pelosi's figure is 1000 times that much. ;')
