We went in there to search Tent City back around 1995. One of the things we had to do was search all the inmates who were returning from their day jobs to spend the night in the tents. Those were probably DUI-type folks, those who were not violent or hardcore. The really bad people are housed inside the hard jail cells.
Arizona is a very Red state. Every ballot measure that makes it hard on illegal aliens always passes with overwhelming support from voters. ACORN will get no foothold here.
That’s exactly where I was heading with my comment but I didn’t complete it but you did and that’s all that matters. Others must keep their eyes and ears open for such training and organization, it’s important. Also, you can’t train so many without it being obvious but then again, I don’t think “they” worry about being obvious, they’ve been very upfront with their agenda...

Maricopa County Supervisor Mary Rose Wilcox agrees with ACORN, saying she thinks Arpaio could potentially be violating the immigrants' rights by keeping them separated. She said she'd like to talk to the Justice Department and have staff there issue an opinion. Wilcox -- a frequent critic of Apraio's immigration policies -- called the move a publicity stunt.Wilcox is right -- the ACORN move *is* a publicity stunt.
