Okay, then. I don't drink. I detest when drinkers act stupid or start a fight or get in their cars drunk. I would rather be around a smoker than a drinker any day for that very reason. Therefore, alochol should be taxed and taxed and taxed.
You've just shown the PROBLEM with our laws — the lack of CONSISTENCY, which has caused HUGE problems and will continue to do so.

Please allow me to clarify this matter so as to sooth your mind.
It works this way; once you have paid the taxes that are required they will permit you to VOLUNTARILY pay as much additional tax as you desire. Now, feel better?
Since everyone he hangs around with gets away without paying them, he thinks those rules apply to everyone else, too.
Sin tax?
How about we call it a predatory tax aimed at forcing people to stop something others do not like.
You know like the tax on alcohol or cigarettes.
Lets place a sin tax on porn.
Lets place a sin tax on homosexuality.
