"Do you remember the hot mic incident last summer when noonan and folks at msnbc outed Hutchison as not supporting the Palin pick as VP?

Payback."

Ding Ding Ding! We have a winner!

I understand. I think that website takes into consideration votes on a variety of topics. Governors don’t have to worry about a voting record. I am not particularly fond of either RP or KBH, to be honest.

KBH lost me when she refused to campaign for the Republicans against Hillary in the 2000 NY Senate race. Something about not wanting to campaign against another woman...unbelievable.

She lost me in the impeachment crap. I'll never vote for her again for anything.

It has now been posted several times that Gov. Palin is
not for the stimulus bill.

Does it help you and others to only read what you want to believe.

These so-called Conservatives who are attempting to discredit Governor Palin have an agenda. It is as plain and simple as that. If Governor Palin isn’t a Conservative, then no one is. I’m sick to death of people who call themselves “pure Conservatives” trying to smear other Conservatives. What a bunch of hogwash. Each and every Conservative has a personal litmus test of their own and that is why Conservatives are always fighting each other rather than the REAL enemy. Conservatives are NEVER going to get EVERYTHING they want because we live in a Republic (well, so far we do...but that may change under Obama’s regime).

That being said, I sure wish people would get their heads out of their netherlands and stop trying to destroy one of their own. Governor Palin is on the Right side.

I saw Glenn Beck’s show today too. In general, I kind of like the guy...but today he had me yelling at him. I wrote to our Alaska Senators again today and now I’ll write to Glenn Beck as well.

Must be a ‘you scratch my back, I’ll shave yours’ kinda of agreement, especially after Perry’s hissy histrionics at the Governor’s Meeting not long ago. Of course, not sure I like the lesser of two evils approach with this. Neither Perry nor Kay Bailey are even close to the level of conservatism Palin is. IIRC, Kay was quite evasive when it came to commenting positively on Sarah.

Do you remember the hot mic incident last summer when noonan and folks at msnbc outed Hutchison as not supporting the Palin pick as VP?

Payback.

That explanation makes more sense than any other. Plus, it also sort of explains why Governor Palin made her endorsement a full year before the campaign would even begin in earnest.

People will believe what they want to believe. Even after the real story has been posted again and again they still refuse to believe it. That’s fine, they can believe what they want, it’s a free country. There is no such thing as being “pure Conservative” times have changed between now and 20 years ago. The AP story was to do one thing, “Destroy from within” that’s right, what’s the one way to destroy Sarah Palin? Easy, say she is not a Conservative, say she is for the stimulus package, when in reality she was not. She was not aware of the AP story because she was busy doing Alaska business during her time in Washington. Instead of us coming together as a party they are trying to split us up, please don’t let that happen. Look, do I agree with every single thing that Sarah Palin supports, no, but I am for the majority of what she believes in and she has done a wonderful job as Governor. People will never agree with her on everything, nor should they, but never doubt that she is a Conservative, 100 percent Conservative, who knows, but really, who is. Mark Sanford? I dare anyone to write him a stimulus check and see if he doesn’t go out and cash it

I have to admit you have given me a new respect for the old adage about lying down with dogs and getting fleas

But I still believe she knows what she is doing with those rascals....and I like your take that she needed cover back home with her sit down at the Alfalfa......to be a fly on that wall !

Many on FR pick away at false and small stuff with Gov. Palin. It is easier for them than to state their real
issue.

As third party fringe Paul and Baldwin supporters, they are anti war and Gov. Palin’s son is in the Army fighting
the IslamOfascists in Iraq.

I think there’s more here too, specifically about energy policy. Texas and Alaska have a LOT to gain with Sarah’s ideas for domestic drilling and energy policy. I bet that just rubs Kay Bailey raw since she proposed her own idea of domestic energy policy.

WRin, we'll see. I'm sure more will come out. Hutchinson as Texas Governor will make the perfect "female Establishment" Republican Presidential candidate.

There'll be more to this, I pretty sure.

Not a fan of Perry. But KBH is much worse. Anbd if I recall, wasn’t too supportive of Sarah as a VP pick. Makes sense this is how Palin will come down.

Me either, he is a lot like Romney, but I think this is strategic.

If Kay has her sights set on the Presidency, she’s got to get through Sarah first. It will be a battle between the old and the new. The new will win.

I guess Glenn read the same AP headline everyone keeps repeating... Google Palin and news and read the facts.

***My greatest fear is that Sarah will campaign for McCain in Arizona. (Shudder)***

Not a big fan of KBH, but she will tear Goodhair a new one next year.

Somebody said on another thread that rumor is that she is backing out of the gov's race. I think she got a cool reception. I'm not crazy about Perry but I am going with him over her.

I think she is getting the picture...she has been voting NO.
