Sounds like you're selling soap or something.
Folks don't fight for a brand. Those old Tareyton commercials weren't real.
“Sorry, Id suggest not making it to the RNCC but instead directly to the conservative members of your choice.”
The RNCC is a good choice now because it endorses ALL the Republicans for standing up united.
PLUS ... a ‘wave’ of support *Today* will get noticed in Washington. It sends a signal to the Senate “Here’s your way forward.”
I gave $$$ to the RNCC today.
I stopped giving for the reasons you mention, but today I gave again.
It’s time to give them a second chance and show support for their standing up to Obama and the Democrats.
The RNCC head is a conservative congressman.
His comments/attitude is sooo ... 2006.
It’s 2009 folks. the new GOP is smaller, feistier and starting to return to conservative principles - if we encourage them in Hope & Change ;-)
Your governor needs to find a spine up there in the frozen north... also, ya’ll need to elect a GOP SoS next go-round... just an observation... and yes, Michelle is a breath of fresh air.
The brand is useful to convey an ideological or product message.
Which is why some have sought to tarnish it (see keyword: Gramsci here at FR)
Tarnished silver is still silver.
Don’t throw out the baby with the bathwater, King Solomon ;^)

Sessions is the congressional guy, Cornyn is the senate... and I doubt very much Cornyn will assist, for instance, if JD decides to challenge McCain here... but did the GOP interfere when Cannon was challenged in Utah this year? They did interfere two years ago, but I am not certain they did this go round and Cannon lost to a conservative who won the election.

I'll support (by vote only) those Republican candidates that I am able to vote for.
I shall not send the RNC one thin (and becoming thinner) dime.
For many years I have settled for the lesser of evils, until evil is all we are able to vote for.
I'd rather spend my money on guns, ammo, rope, and lumber.
Republicanism didn’t make Conservatives a majority.
Conservatism made Republicans a majority.

I’ve been lurking too long without covering my bandwidth costs. I’m in for $200. Times are tough but we can’t let Obama win. Joke on Obama is I’m giving 200 dollars with his dirty government unemployment money. Starve the beast.
No way.
Ditto!
Fyi.
Woo Hoo! Thanks for helping save our republic! Nothing will stop Obama better than Free Republic!
The RNC elected Michael Steele as the new leader today. THis is great new for the party. I agree about giving to your candidate of choice. I will do that and will also support Michael Steele. He will need our support. At last a leader.
Don't get your hopes up...
In all my years as a conservative Republican Party member/activist/delegate/campaigner/etcetera all I have ever seen is an unending series of disappointments in leader after leader, candidate after candidate, and representative after representative. Mr. Steele will have to PROVE himself before I will have any confidence in him whatsoever.
Now that Michael Steele is chairman of RNC, what do you think about supporting RNC?
Personally, I think he is a much needed voice of conservative reason and will fundamentally transform the Republican Party.
For the sake of our country, I certainly hope so!
BUMP!
