Wrong. It’s NBC’s show - they can book whatever ads they want. If the NFL doesn’t like it, they can give superbowl broadcasting rights to someone else, whenever their contract with NBC is up. The only exception would be if there is political advocacy commercial clause stipulated in their contract, but the fact they even entertained the idea of airing the peta commercial shoots down this theory.
