Yup, two years is a long time.

One week so far it seems like an eternity. Waave after wave of awful and terrible policies from the White House, and outrage after outrage from the Congress. If you are not already outraged by the Obama war against our prosperity, freedom, decency and security, then you aren’t paying attention!

I think y'all have Republicans and Conservatives confused.

One (obviously) does not necessarily equal the other, and hasn't for a long time.

If the electorate would quit tolerating the 'lesser of two evils' candidates who are "electable" over people who have principles and are willing to stand up for them, we'd be in better shape now and in the future, because that tolerance for unConservative candidates bearing the Republican label (along with the pep-rally mentality toward elections) has gotten us into this very predicament.

My loyalty is to my country, not a political party, my worship reserved for my God, (not to any man nor woman), and my principles, hard won, learned, and earned through life stand without compromise, because I know the pain of the alternatives.

We desperately need candidates who will take a stand, have no disqualifying dirt in their pasts, and who can be polished up and made media savvy before the next election.

This is going to be an uphill battle all the way, but the decision has to be made as to whether we are going to drag the Republican leadership along kicking and screaming, or whether we abandon them and forge a new party based on Conservative principles, a strong and intuitive vision of what is right versus wrong, and which is willing to divest government of its usurped powers at all levels, and willing to disenfranchise those undeserving segments of the enormous entitlement base the working people carry with their tax dollars.
