The dOpey-One should read the Declaration of Independence for a list of grievances set forth as justification. All of them an infringement of rights.
Not that I doubt you...but do you have documentation or a link to another page that would prove this?
If you right-click the linked page and click "View Source", you will find the following. This page literally has his name all over it.
meta name="keywords" content="Constitution, President, Barack Obama, White House, United States of America, 44th President, White House history, President Obama, Barck, Barek, Barak, Barrack, Barrak, Obma, Barack" />
meta name="description" content="WhiteHouse.gov is the official web site for the White House and President Barack Obama, the 44th President of the United States. This site is a source for information about the President, White House news and policies, White House history, and the federal government." />
Hillary warned everybody in 2000 in a speech “WE ARE GOING TAKE THINGS FROM YOU FOR YOUR OWN GOOD”.
Ammo prices are going thought the roof. People are definitely hoarding, and I believe with good reason.
I expect The One to go after ammunition by cranking up the taxes on it as well as possibly banning the importation of ammo. There are also state-proposed measures out there like serialized ammo with would really screw gun owners.
thought = through
Which is one important reason why the socialists want to remove "God" from the equation.
Only an armed revolution will prevent this stuff from snowballing, I am afraid.
As usual, the liberals have it exactly backwards: the Government’s rights come from the people, and the people may withdraw them at their pleasure. It says a great deal about our times that this is today considered a radical proposition by many people, especially those content to wear an agreeably light load of chains in exchange for the right to pilfer others’ bank accounts.
Your words will one day, be acknowledged as being prophetic unless the government can be rid of the socialist weasels through the ballot box, the latter looking more and more hopeless each election.
Hunting and fishing have absolutely nothing to do with the 2nd amendment. Neither has fending off a home invasion. The founders made quite clear the right of the American people to keep and bear arms for one purpose...defending ourselves against and defeating a criminal, despotic government. That is why the 2nd amendment must NEVER be overturned. For when it is and when We the People are gutless enough to accept it, the rest of our rights are lost as well. Just that simple.
Let’s find an impeachable offense and not sweat the obvious nickel-and-dime stuff.
I tried the Wayback Machine website but got nowhere. Oh well. I suppose it's bad enough as it is. Which is...pretty bad.
I am starting to see the shelves refilling. People have been buying far more ammunition than they normally would and who can blame them?
In other words, without the second amendment, the others are unenforceable.
We will need active military which will probably be split. There are millions of vets that took the oath and some could be counted on to defend our Country in our Country. A scenario that few considered but seemingly growing in reality.
Absolutely false.
I call this a treasonous act to publish this Constitutional heresy on the website of a duly elected public official sworn to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States. That it is posted on the President's website strikes the mind as an open declaration of sedition against the Constitution of the United States. I demand redress of what certainly appears to be a high crime and treason against the United States perpetrated by President Barack Hussein Obama.

The BoRs does not contain any rights and was not intended to. What it contains are proscriptions on governmental authority and it names some rights that those proscriptions specifically apply to. Amendment X itself makes it clear that the Constitution and BoRs does not name all of our rights.
Yes I thinnk people are stockpiling (hoarding). Guns and ammo seem to be the best investment for the time being.
Yes the prices have probably gone up at least 50% in the past 4 years. Some because of the war. Some because of metal prices and availability. some because of tightening of government regulations. And yes. People are investing in something that can protect them, and feed them.
I don’t think people are too confident in the government “security” blanket.
