Another addendum.

As I understand it Milorganite is baked pretty good to kill all the nasty things in poop/sewage ,, up to the hardest thing to kill hepatitis ,, I’m not an expert but I’d suspect dirty needles from the team doc spreading the disease as they were all on a single year team ...
Big farmers in my County were pushing for it’s use a few years ago. They referred to it as “nutrients”. Even the Farm Bureau was in favor of it. I am against spreading sludge on farmland. Heavy minerals will migrate through the soil and eventually reach the water table and aquifers. Land that has had sludge applied should be documented by the County and State, as well as recorded on the property deed. Other landowners, whose wells may be contaminated should have access to these records to sue for damages. Potential buyers should also know that sludge was spread on that property as well.
