Considering what NY is capable of giving us, this isn’t too bad, much better than I expected.
“Cong. Kirsten Gillibrand from Columbia County, NY. Her ACU rating in her only year rated year in Congress — 8. Exactly the same as Clinton in 2007.”
CONSERVATIVE?!?! That’s a lie.
OTOH, did she ever release her tax returns?
“As Barack Obama rightfully calls out Hillary Clinton on refusing to release her tax returns, New Yorkers in the 20th CD are wondering why their own carpetbagging liberal attorney isn’t releasing hers.
That’s right, folks: Kirsten Gillibrand’s tax evasion continues.”

Looking at her house district, this appointment saves Gillibrand from certain defeat in 2010. Her House seat needs to go Republican.
I think you should ask the mod to pull the “conservative” label in the headline for this woman. She’s nothing of the sort.

I’m not surprised at all. The Governor has to look out for his job first and he has to run again in the next few years for a job he hs never won, remember he was appointed. This will keep upstate somewhat happy.
They should have kicked NY City out of NY Sate when they had the chance. Upstate could be considered a Red State.
