Anywhere warm would be nice right about now.
If it's May 15-17, that's commencement weekend here at U.Va.
Everybody write a letter to the editor once a month or so. We need to educate a lot of very unimfored voters out there. People who don’t listen to talk radio, or go on the internet read letters to the editor! Believe me, I know a few.
I don’t even know what to think about that.
x2
The participation would be greatest if we had more local meetings. Health, avoidance of air travel, time, money and other restrictions should be a consideration. At least in the beginning stages we should meet locally - then have a national meeting as a grand finale and presentation of the new force. Remember, one initial big meeting would be a logistical nightmare and may rob us of the creativity, energy and brilliance to needed to succeed.
Fredonia?
LOL. What a strange name for a town.
Dallas is fine with me!
Aren't you always five months pregnant? ;^)
*I like your idea*
Thanks, you are one who walks the walk so you would.
Thanks for the ping!
LOL. I couldn’t be pc intolerant. I am 1/64 indian. I think. :)
What about a FREEPer contingent at CPAC?
You got that right. I've been disappointed in some of the newer members. They treat FR like a blog and it was never intended to be that. We need to stress activism. We may be the only group in America that is willing to take it to the liberals face to face.
Thanks for cancelling the Free Republic Inaugural Ball in DC , I planned to be in the “state of denial” anyway during that time, been in that state since Nov 4,2008.
As for the get together to talk about our next plan of action, I like Denver, but as not all people will fly , and some will drive, Denver is not a close drive for anyone, besides that is were Obama’s convention was, that place still has cooties from all the liberals who were there this summer.
Atlanta sounded great. Or some nice historical place in Virginia :-)
Would there be less chance of infiltration if we meet under the radar? Not necessarily. I was thinking of the government radar. We are already infiltrated on FR. We are going to always have sabatours, but they are not too hard to spot. Their language gives them away. The liberal buzz words that come out without their even realizing it. I think we pick up on the buzz words pretty quickly, while they don’t know that they are using them.
Either STL or DAL would be OK for me, but I’d prefer TX.
One reason is that they will honor my CCW permit from AR...although I need to confirm that!
HL61
Dallas for me! :-)
Wonderful idea! It would be great to put faces to so many names of FRiends here!
Im in for Denver
