He makes classic rooms that look like their owners have inherited money and furnishings, and he mixes things up with tastefully hip pieces -- just as he wears John Lobb custom shoes. This lurching transition from rooms to the designer's shoes has evoked in me an enduring contempt bordering on hatred for the author of this wretched article.

I'm expecting $50M in donations for this interior decorating effort -- and a good portion of that money will be spent on interior decorating. Oh come on. I can't be that expensive to bring Kenya hut interior decor to the White House. I know importing genuine Kenya dirt floor would be expensive but let's be real.
