Well, I guess they got the attention they wanted.

At least she wasn’t named Barak Hussein Obama Campbell.
To: new cruelty
Why, because they named the kid Adolf? This was stupid to name the kid Adolf, but this is abuse of big brother govt.
The Govt has no business telling people what to name their kids.

New Jersey, huh? I thought these people all lived in the racist south.
To: new cruelty
Less morally repugnant than naming a child Barack.

I agree that it’s wrong to make a political statement with your kid’s names but it’s just wrong to adopt Nazi-style tactics punish these parents.

Third Reich alive and well in New Jersey ping...Yeah, and it's taking kids from their homes.
To: Perdogg
I agree- it was stupid to name their children as they did- but they should be free to do so. The article is short on reasons why the children were taken. I’d venture a guess that the shoprite cake caper got the attention of the New Jersey Division of Youth and Family Services. Perhaps they did a little digging and found there was more to this than just a name.

The chief didn't know why the children were taken but said his department received no reports of abuse or negligence...
So honestly, it's a horrible thing to name your child.
But this is the state's business, why exactly?

More like it is that people who are willing to name their kids Adolf Hitler and Aryan Nation are probably involved in a lot of illegal activities. The names are just a byproduct of the parents being freaks.
