Just a note...
This update from John Ziegler is a testimony of his really good heart. Freepers are so lucky to have someone like this on “our side.”
The Good DO get stronger! :)
I can not understand how anyone could not like Governor Sarah Palin.
Me neither. More evidence that “progressive liberalism” is form of insanity.
I like her but I do not think she should run again. I think she should stay doing what she is good at, being an excellent Governor and enjoy her family.
“I do not think she should run again”
I strongly disagree! We NEED Sarah in the White House! I really don’t think there are any other GOP candidates who have the amount of support among the people that Sarah Palin does.
I think that Sarah Palin is the ONLY Republican who has the ability to unseat Obama in 2012. Why would the liberals continue to be attack her, two months after the election, if she wasn’t that much of a threat to them???
We need her in the White House, plain and simple! She should run for a second term as Governor in 2010 and then for POTUS in 2012!!!!
GO SARAH!!!!!!
SARAH PALIN, 2012!!!!
I’m with you. I watched this vid and Ziegler is not doing her any favors. It is disingenuous at best for her to complain about media treatment. Some of it was rough and tasteless. But she also joined in by going on SNL. And, as for her family being exposed, she brought them onstage with her on many campaign occasions, introduced them individually, etc. She sent outthe press release re Bristol’s pregnancy and unwed status, also.
She was obviously ill-prepared for her big interviews, yet is quoted saying she believes she should have done more!!
Now, Ziegler showcases her whining. I don’t think it helps anything.
She has a lot on her plate, not that women nowdays care but its reality. Im really glad shes a conservative. Shes a great asset. As far as her running again I would not support it. I think some better candidates will step forward. If she did run again I feel the result would be the same.
I am in two minds about her doing this interview, as it can so easily be contrued as whining about her own hurt feelings. But the main thrust is about the attacks on her family, including recent attacks. All candidates present their families during an election; Palin’s was the only one to be continually slimed and sneared at. She is right to hit back. Once. Let her army of supporters do it from now on. I have an open mind about her prospects in 2012 or 2016. The odds look insurmountable. But my money would be on her for precisely that reason.
Yeppers. I do not think she would get a different result either. Presidential politics is a tough, demanding arena. Mitt Romney was too naive for it, also. As I scan the horizon, I do not see who we will run next, at least not someone who would WIN it.
Oh p.s., I’m not sure how conservative she is either.....
I understand that families get thrust in the limelight, but she did feature hers especially prominently. I agree also that the opposition went over the line many times in their slams on her and family. I wanted to knock some heads at times. Still, it’s time to get past the post mortem. If Sarah Palin is serious, she has a lot of studying to do, on both domestic and foreign issues.
I think Sarah Palin would very much like to get past the post-mortem. Unfortunately, her enemies, either in the ‘lower 48’ or in Alaska refuse to let up on their sliming of her family. Nor will they as long as there is any chance that she could be a serious challenge. The tactic is obvious to me. Make life hell for her loved ones forcing her to withdraw, of if she does not, proclaim her a ‘bad mother’ who will sacrifice her family to greed and ambition. Nice people.
Familiar with the proverbial "The rape victim had a short skirt... she was asking for it."?
Are you stalking me?
My comment was on your remarks that Palin has to blame herself for the media smearing her. IMO it's like saying a rape victim has to blame herself.
Obviously, you are very sensitive about anyone taking a realistic look at Sarah Palin, any view that doesn’t revere her as a rock star. So be it. But it is creepy when you stalk other posters.

I don't think it's realistic to blame her for the media hate-campaign against her family. You said that she brought it all onto herself... puleeze.
I said what I said, not what you said I said. I was having a reasonable discussion with another grown-up, not with you.
Get a life, or come back in 10 years when you grow up.
If you seriously support Sarah Palin as a future presidential candidate, I assure you you are not helping her cause by your trollish behavior.
If you prefer to have a conversation with only one Freeper, you might consider using Freepmail. I can comment on your posts anytime I like, just as you can ignore them.

I'm not trollish, but you are definitely hysterical and paranoid, and I resent your patronizing, overbearing tone towards me. Forgive and forget.
Have a nice day.
