Bathrooms in the metro stations will be closed.
There are bathrooms in the Metro stations? In all the time I've been riding Metro I have yet to see one.
I work in DC and live in the MD. suburbs, my advice is to stay away from DC until at least Thursday.
This could be a disaster. Don’t they take the inauguration inside when the weather is bad? The weather for the 20th is forecast to be just about as bad as it gets in DC? Not a whole Lot of people will get to watch an inauguration inside.
People should be told to stay away from the ceremony and watch it on TV. People could die.
And from the weather report they are going to get it; temperatures in low 20s heavy snow, and wind. It will probably not be held outside.

I wouldn't go if I had a real invite with the rest of the elites, Let alone under the conditions of the serfs. No thanks.
Unless its some kind of holiday, most Americans should be at WORK!
You’re right, it is a work day, which I had forgotten in the midst of all this hoopla, so my TV watching will begin in the evening. But I wouldn’t be surprised to find that most workplaces will have TVs tuned to the inauguration festivities throughout the day, making it hellish for at least half of all employees. Fortunately, I’m self-employed.
Freaky-Deaky...
That photo, by the way, is real. It was an incredible ice storm in Switzerland in 2005. That is Lake Geneva.
