A nice piece of rhetoric indeed. Not having to pay taxes or being an American citizen I respectfully will not comment. I am happy to say that Canada Free Press does print syndicated writers and the redoubtable J B Williams is one of them. He is American living in America.

This will not get anyone's hackles up as before, when some thought a writer was a Canadian butting in. What must be and almost certainly all here know though, is that most speeches are written for important figures. Especially in Canada.

This I will bear in mind when the great day comes. I can visualize many person in the comfort of their living room, with an adult beverage in hand, thinking how nice to watch the procedings. They shiver a little, feeling for a moment, like any of one of crowd who are out there.

masochist:
  1. a sexual perversion characterized by pleasure in being subjected to pain or humiliation especially by a love object
  2. pleasure in being abused or dominated : having a taste for suffering
I have a friend who is tagging her emails with:
Never in the field of US politics have so many waited so long for so little.
A slight change is in order:
Never in the history of mankind have so many stood for so long in such cold for so little

I'd rather give this guy a chance at the job.

Army Staff Sgt Derrick Brooks (L) stands in for President-elect Barack Obama and Army Spc Nicholas Rupple, representing Vice President-elect Joe Biden, salute during a rehearsal for the inaugural swearing-in ceremonies on the West Front of the Capitol Building in Washington, January 11, 2009. Barack Obama is scheduled to be sworn-in as the 44th President of the United States on January 20.

No.

It is a celebration of the Constitution. Of the peaceful transfer of power, unprecedented in human history.

Don't let 0bama spoil what America stands for!

I don’t think Katie Couric has ever called Oprah’s Choice a neophyte. Therefore, to the American people he is HOPE and not a neophyte. They will believe in him even when he fails, as their great-grandparents did with FDR.

He will cower inside ‘the beast’. Anyone know how much ‘the beast’ is costing taxpayers?
