This will not get anyone's hackles up as before, when some thought a writer was a Canadian butting in. What must be and almost certainly all here know though, is that most speeches are written for important figures. Especially in Canada.
This I will bear in mind when the great day comes. I can visualize many person in the comfort of their living room, with an adult beverage in hand, thinking how nice to watch the procedings. They shiver a little, feeling for a moment, like any of one of crowd who are out there.

Army Staff Sgt Derrick Brooks (L) stands in for President-elect Barack Obama and Army Spc Nicholas Rupple, representing Vice President-elect Joe Biden, salute during a rehearsal for the inaugural swearing-in ceremonies on the West Front of the Capitol Building in Washington, January 11, 2009. Barack Obama is scheduled to be sworn-in as the 44th President of the United States on January 20.
