Doug thank you for this comprehensive post. I hope it works, but I believe she will be confirmed 90+ Senators. This could turn a few though....hopefully.

It would be great to see the 41 GOP Senators and even Lieberman vote against Hillary. Of course, she will still get the job but the GOP would be on the record against the appointment.

Confirmation hearings are usually just a public show. There is no way in h3<< that she will not be confirmed; unless she kills a bus load of school children on the way to the hearing. In that case, she’ll get bail and sail through the hearing.

Clintons are like the modern Borgias —anything to get what they want. Hillary will be the ‘Best’ sec. of State we have had. Shes going for the gold- in her bid to upstage the O-Man.
This is going to be fun to watch.
Certainly no Dem senator is going to do anything other than praise her to high heaven. But I hope at least one Republican rakes her over the coals, as those bitches and bastards did to Condi Rice in 2004.

Holder has a lot of baggage. His role in opposing FBI and CIA should not share info show that at best he is stupid.
Sen. Specter has information that can harm Holder and the Clintons, if he has the guts to use it.

These Senators do not even read the bills they vote on. Do you think they(or their staff) will read DFU letter all the way through? Sorry, we may not like it but Madame Secretary will be confirmed by huge majority. That is just the way it goes.
