I feel sorry for good people in Illnois that they have impeached loser as Governor
Live thread - now! It sounds like Blago is not going down without a fight. He says it’s political. Not addressing the issue.
Is he standing on a prostrate Harry Reid?
Impeached for doing ‘THINGS “
Kinda fast kinda
Does he know he’s been impeached? He’s not talking about his impeachment at all.
Blago is just plain loco.
yadda yadda yadda , cure cancer yadda yadda yadda
Uh... where’s the >>> link <<< to the live broadcast?
Fox is trying to turn this into Mystery Science Theater 3000.
Shut up Shep!
I was just listening to it on the Howie Carr show and they were picking up the Fox News feed, esp. Shep Smith throwing his comments in (”What about the impeachment? The childrens’
hospital?”). Operation change the subject! NOTHING about
his misdeeds, just about how the House is always out to get him because he cares about the people. What a load!
Oh my.....look at all of his fans! Shep on Fox is having a hissy fit!
LOL, Shep is going nuts! He’s yelling at blago the way I yell at the TV.
On Fox news now. Don’t know what’s more irritating. Blagojevich, or Shep Smith that thinks his commentary on top of the press conference is funny.
I am watching on Fox. Could someone please tell that a$$hole Shemp to shut up so we can hear what is being said?
Geesh, Shemp has no room to talk.
“And by the way, there is a bill that is in the Senate that they may want to vote on instead of impeaching me.” If not, families lose their homes, etc..
“I want to quote another British poem”
Sorry, I puked after that on my keyboard.
This guy’s so nuts that I’m ready for him to declare martial law and use Illinois National Guard to disband the State Legislature.
Don’t you just love poll-a-tians?
“Here’s a guy in a wheelchair. My parents worked two jobs. Now let me quote some Tennyson.”
He quoted this:
Alfred, Lord Tennyson
There lies the port; the vessel puffs her sail:
There gloom the dark, broad seas. My mariners,
Souls that have toil’d, and wrought, and thought with me -—
That ever with a frolic welcome took
The thunder and the sunshine, and opposed
Free hearts, free foreheads -— you and I are old;
Old age hath yet his honour and his toil;
Death closes all: but something ere the end,
Some work of noble note, may yet be done,
Not unbecoming men that strove with Gods.
The lights begin to twinkle from the rocks:
The long day wanes: the slow moon climbs: the deep
Moans round with many voices. Come, my friends,
‘Tis not too late to seek a newer world.
Push off, and sitting well in order smite
The sounding furrows; for my purpose holds
To sail beyond the sunset, and the baths
Of all the western stars, until I die.
It may be that the gulfs will wash us down:
It may be we shall touch the Happy Isles,
And see the great Achilles, whom we knew.
Tho’ much is taken, much abides; and tho’
We are not now that strength which in old days
Moved earth and heaven, that which we are, we are;
One equal temper of heroic hearts,
Made weak by time and fate, but strong in will
To strive, to seek, to find, and not to yield.
