Who’s Joe Klein?

He's the coward who wrote a book ( I forget the name of it) about the 1992 Clinton campaign and then didn't have the guts to put his real name on it. Other than that he's nobody.

Time magazine reaches millions of ordinary people who think that reading Time makes them smart and informed. Don't minimize it's influence.

???

Are you kidding me? Every time a barber or orthodontist cancels, Time loses a significant portion of its subscription base. Normal people don't get this crap delivered to them anymore, do they? Seriously, do they?

I’m thinking about compiling a list of people if we ever have a civil war. Klein will be on the list. But they’re be plenty of others. People in the media bear more responsibility for the downfall of America than average citizens. They know the truth, but they refuse to print or air it. There will be a reckoning some day. We will have a trial for the likes of Klein and Moore after the smoke clears.

"Who’s Joe Klein?"

He is another Clintonoid kneepad wearer who routinly forgets to wipe his chin.

“Who’s Joe Klein?”

He’s some stooge representing George Orwell’s “1984” in which black is white, down is up and war is peace.

Any mention of the gentlemen who beheaded Daniel Pearl, BEFORE, we went to Iraq.

Any mention of the barbarism of the taliban, the palestinians, and assorted other madmen around the world. (Mumbai massacre) who threaten the innocents?

Wow, a member of the Mainstream Media is a flaming partisan liberal?

Who knew?

I don’t think any of the things that you mentioned on your lists are war crimes. But I think it is that sending sending thousands of American citizens of Japanese origin to relocation camps in WW2 was anti-American, in the sense of failing to respect the constitution and the traditions of a free society.

Meanwhile I doubt Time magazine will scrutinize Obama’s policies as severely as Bush’s when Obama decides it is necessary to infringe on our individual rights, as all presidents seem to do these days.

Uh, probably more effective if you used the correct variation of “you’re” when calling someone a moron. Not that I disagree, but....

Allow me to translate Joe Klein’s comments:

“I have not actually read the text of the Third Geneva Convention Treaty. Not even the Wikipedia summary.”

It’s not just Klein, his editors had to read and approve.

This is a point that needs to be made more often. Writers, talking heads don’t live in a vacuum - they write and say pretty much what is expected of them. If not - they’re likely out on the street.

Maybe some other country or entity will “snatch” Joe Klein while he is traveling? Maybe not even waiting for him to leave the USA. Perhaps they will get him on the train from his Pelham, New York home to the city? Or at the supermarket or gym. After all he who makes a living by arguing for quasi-judicial kidnapping can hardly expect to be immune from same.

And right after the trial, I’d like to be there with a strong rope, a saddleless, nervous horse, and a stout oak tree.

For Moore, I think we’re gonna need a bigger tree!

It’s a shame we can’t go back in time and trade Joe Klein for Mr Pearl.
