Wow, not every day do I see a riot I can approve of.

Cardoza said the protesters "were trying to entice us into doing something."

So why DIDN'T you?

You think his family should be subject to violence?

I too would like to know what really happened. Unfortunately, I suspect that by the time the circus is over we never will know for sure.

Do you mean you hope he gets convicted if he’s guilty, or do you mean, lets have a fair trial and hang him? Pardon me, but you certainly don’t sound as if you think there needs to be an investigation or even a trial, just a conviction and punishment.
I agree that if he just wantonly shot the guy, he deserves to be convicted and sentenced. However, altho I have seen a couple of videos, I still cannot make the determination that he intentionally shot this guy in cold blood. I need more information, and hopefully our justice system thinks so too.

From the updated story: Myron Bell was taking dance lessons in "step," a form of dance popular among African Americans, when he looked out the window and saw people jumping on his Lexus sedan. Bell, 42, came out to find that almost all of the car's windows, including the front and back had been smashed and it appeared that someone had tried to set the car on fire.

What's going on is people with latent envy are lashing out under cover of something more socially acceptable. They know envy driven destruction is wrong so they wait until an opportunity of cover presents itself. They think: how dare someone like me own a Lexus! This is leftism and this is Satan.

OAKLAND -- A protest over the fatal shooting by a BART police officer of an unarmed man mushroomed into a violent confrontation Wednesday evening, with a faction of protesters smashing a police car and blocking streets in downtown Oakland.

Good, the POS cop MURDERED an unarmed cooperating citizen in cold blood.

He and his family are now in hiding, from the mobs agitated by a notorious Oakland shyster.

Considering that he's a pathetic murdering savage? He should be.

I saw him pull his weapon, aim and pull the trigger for a head shot to an individual who was subdued on the floor. There is absolutely no excuse for that behaviour by an LEO.If that was you or me killing an unarmed man in that situation we would be facing the death penalty. We would be in jail without bond, not walking the streets with no charges filed. The only reason he is not in jail at this moment is because he is a cop, or was a cop, I understand he resigned yesterday.Just because you have a badge does not give special privelages for using lethal force against a subdued human being, accidental or not. He deliberatly pulled his weapon, aimed and pulled the trigger, that part is indisputed.

Bread and circuses. The mob demands blood. The mob spews out cliches of outrage fed to its brainless heads by the MSM. The mob seeks out those among themselves it suspects of sympathizing with the police. The show is just starting. The mob demands blood. Bread and circuses.

You think his family should be subject to violence?..............................No, but, I do not think his name should be kept secret just because he is a cop. How many times here on FR do we hear complaints about other criminals names not being released when a crime has ben commited. You strawman argument suggest no ones name should be released for their crimes. Oh, thats right, he has not been charged yet, gee, I wonder why.

Well, you apparently didn’t see what you thought you did. The guy was shot in the back, so he clearly didn’t pull his weapon and pull the trigger for a head shot.
I still have a problem with him pulling his weapon (if there isn’t more to this scene than we see) however, I wasn’t there, and I don’t know exactly what happened. And, apparently, neither do you. That is my simple point. We don’t know what happened, and yet some are ready to convict and even give the guy a lethal injection all based on a few videos which don’t give us the audio of what happened, and clearly aren’t clear enough for us to see EXACTLY what happened.

The core group of the mob appeared to be about 40 people, several of whom were with Revolution Books, a Berkeley bookstore. A man distributed the "Revolution" newspaper - whose tagline is "voice of the Revolutionary Communist Party, U.S.A." - as he shouted "This whole damn system is guilty!"

Yes, the RCP, and their leader Glorious Chairman Bob Avakian, a Joe Palooka type who assures us that yes, revolution is still possible! I was also referring to the flaming troll mob here.
