Some leaders of Black Dem Caucus have been in favor of draft to equalize race and socioecon class demographics of military.

I think that's just been a gimmick by black Democrats who are in super-safe districts to embarrass the GOP in other districts. Lyndon Johnson turned from being loved by the libs (because of civil rights legislation) to being hated, not only over Vietnam, but because of the draft connected with it. That's way too recent a lesson for even a Rat to forget.

I also think that Zero will suffer a similar fate if he sends more troops to Afghanistan, the moonbats all believe that is something he said during the campaign just to get elected by a mushy middle that wanted to see some semblance of strength against McCain. There will be calls for an immediate pullout from both Iraq and Afghanistan, and the liberals will grow ever more shrill with Barry with each passing day that it does not happen.

I'm old enough to remember thirty-two years ago, the liberals were very excited about having the Johnson-Nixon-Ford era over and done with, and every time Jimmy Carter looked like any kind of a continuation of that era, they started criticizing him. By the time Reagan took him on in 1980, he had much, much less support within his own party, and the late night comedians were roasting him constantly.
