IIRC she got her degree but never passed (And maybe never took) a bar exam.

Howie Carr (Boston's Talk Radio Bad Boy) has a feature on his show called "The Wizard of Uhhs". It usta feature Joe Kennedy and his public pronouncements. Callers would compete to see who could correctly count the number of times that Joe said "uh" in a short excerpt. After Joe retired from public life (reportedly to await anointment as Uncle Ted's successor) Howie started picking on Uncle Fatboy.

The upside is, if She's appointed, he can start a new contest, the Sorceress of Malaprop.

What’s funny is that her parents weren’t really “good-looking.” There was plenty “wrong” with both their looks, and they both took unflattering photos on many occasions. But it’s certainly true that John, Jr., was better-looking than either of his parents, and Caroline is not so good-looking as either of her parents.

She's 51 years old...

Exactly. Sarah Palin's younger and she doesn't talk all stupid like that.

Yup JJ got all the looks. I did always think Jackie was a good looking woman - not stunning just good looking. I know several people who are on TV or the movies on a regular basis. A couple of them are not very attractive in person but the camera really likes then. Odd thing.

If she really wanted to show some political mettle, she’d run as Caroline Schlossberg...

The camera is amazing. Most ordinary people look pretty terrible on TV. The thing about the camera adding 20 lbs. is true. Only maybe it’s more like 50 lbs.

Short people look good in the movies and on television—maybe they seem to fit in to the environment more easily. Big people tend to look clumsy and oafish. Tom Cruise and Mel Gibson are both 5’6”, I think. Joan Crawford was 5’0”, or so, but rarely looked anything but intimidating on screen. The movie camera seems to like people with small bodies and big faces with well-defined features—big nose, strong cheekbones, strong jaw, etc. I’m sure it has a great deal to do with the absence of depth perception in film and television.
