Well, you could have Sarah Palin as your mother but then you’d hate your father:

“I declare to you that woman must not depend upon the protection of man, but must be taught to protect herself and there I take my stand.”
-Susan B. Anthony -

Here is the kicker:

GIZZI: Who is your role model?
PALIN: Susan B. Anthony.

Susan B. Anthony is bad how? Does admiring a certain person mean supporting all they have done and said? I suppose you are female... I reckon that you neither think that mothers should serve the public, nor that woman should have fought for suffrage.

Fantastic! Please promise never to vote again.

Through your thin varnish of "anti-feminism" shines your true motivation... women out of politics. It's so obvious.

BTW your argumentation amazes me... I suppose you consider me a racist, antisemite if I say that I greatly admire General Patton. You know, there are quotes from him. I also admire Churchill and the Shah... though both also have said and done things I don't agree with.

P.S.: I'd consider myself blessed to have someone like Sarah Palin as mother, wife or daughter.

If you feel this way about Sarah, the FR isn’t where you belong. I suggest the Daily KOS or the Huffington Post, but then again I guess you can’t troll at those sites.***

Yep totally agree - good advice for Vermont:-)

I would love to see a true conservative. One that stands by their convictions. One that believes that the individual is more powerful than the government. Someone that thinks we need a strong defense, but uses it wisely.***

Sarah Palin = Voted CONSERVATIVE OF THE YEAR!

There are four large organizations now committed to supporting her. Team Sarah, draftpalinforpresident and 2012DraftSarahCommittee (the last is registered as draft committee with the FEC).

Our group the 2012DSC has begun to build a grass roots organizers in each state and will participate in CPAC in Washington at the end of February.

Gov. Sarah Palin will be the candidate for President in 2012 and win that election. In 2010, she will be an overwhelming force in enabling the Republicans to take back both the Senate and the House.

When you find someone, give me a call. Sarah ain’t it.***

Keep your head buried in the sand. Or just go back to your Daily Kos.

Sarah Palin: A Voice in the Wilderness http://www.northstarwriters.com/dkk158.htm With President-elect Barack Obama's inauguration imminent, and Republican power and influence at an historical nadir, the two stories below won't receive much attention outside of Alaska. But they should, especially within GOP circles, as the debate of how to get out of the cellar and climb back to the penthouse begins in earnest, for they show precisely the route that must be taken. Item: Palin Proposes 7 Percent Cut in State Spending As Alaska's coffers are filled mostly by oil revenues, the recent drop in prices has caused revenues to slow. In response, Governor Sarah Palin's $4.9 billion budget calls for a 7 percent cut in overall state spending, mostly in capital projects. Combined with a modest 2 percent increase in the operating budget for state agencies, the budget outline would result in a $388 million surplus in 2010 if projections hold........ So, to sum up: Be conservative, believe in and stand on principle, say why plainly, and walk the talk. Then have the courage and preparedness to withstand the furious attacks that are sure to come. If done consistently over time, this will also go a long way to restoring the credibility that the Republican Congress and President Bush combined to destroy. Other than perhaps Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal, NO other star shines as bright (or at all) on the right-hand side of the aisle than the one from the far north. And the reason should be a lesson for others, if enough of them have the conviction and courage to do likewise. Read the entire article here http://www.northstarwriters.com/dkk158.htm

I said: The fact remains that Sarah Palin is a unrepentant failure as a mother and her political ideology is Feminist, not Christian.

You said: Which planet are you from? One of her greatest strengths is she IS a Christian.

I said Palin's political ideology is Feminst, not Christian. Here is an example:

"I declare to you that woman must not depend upon the protection of man, but must be taught to protect herself and there I take my stand."
Susan B. Anthony

GIZZI: Who is your role model?
PALIN: Susan B. Anthony.

Sarah Palin is a big government spender, and she wants to spend taxpayer money on her personal interests:

Oct. 24, 2008:
In her first policy address since joining the Republican ticket, Sarah Palin called for parents of special needs children to use federal funding to pick the school of their choice...

Palin also called for full federal funding of the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act, phasing in an additional $15 billion in funding over five years. (snip)

I notice every time a post has Sarah or Palin in the title, the trolls come out. There are a lot of people working full time to dissuade people from supporting Sarah Palin. Fortunately, it's not going to work. The more they howl against her, the more attractive she becomes. She's a real conservative who walks the walk as governor. The can try the “women's lib”, “bad mother”,”too conservative”, “not conservative enough”, “dictatorial”, “absentee”. “inarticulate”, “not experienced”, “too Christian”, “not Christian enough”...you name it, their trying it, but not of it will work because of her strength of character.
SARAH PALIN 2012!

This is turning into a personality cult, just like the Obama cult. And just like the Obama cult, there is little under the surface.

"I really don’t see how the Obama [Sarah Palin] devotees can ever in future mock the Moonies, the Scientologists or people who claim to have been abducted in flying saucers. This is a cult like the one which grew up around Princess Diana, bereft of reason and hostile to facts."

dear donna,
I get that you primarily believe Sarah Palin has been a lousy mother. We disagree.
But to pull out one spending bill as proof that she is not fiscally conservative in Alaska, is preposterous. Bottom line: Alaska is running a surplus. The bills are being paid, the state is not in debt. She's not headed to Washington looking for a bailout, like all the Dem governors. She has, by all accounts, run the state of Alaska as a fiscal conservative. There is really no dispute about that.

Not quite following the “logic”............No one was “lashing out”, I simply read what Vermont (socialist state btw) said about SP and recommended that they troll on more fertile ground. CARepublicans concurred. No one “lashed out”. One who leans right of center may prefer a candidate other than SP but to proclaim one’s self “sick of her” as Vermont (socialist state btw) did??? I stand by my original response: Should find a willing and able amen corner at the HuffoPost, MoveIt.Ogre, or the Dilly Dally.KOS——pick your poison.

Unrepentant failure as a mother.........tough words coming from someone who claims Christianity. I suppose you’re a “bonafide, legitimate, upstanding, sqeaky clean, card carrying member of the Pachyderm Club” Republican.........

So glad I remain an independent——I hope you for one won’t be voting for SP in 2012, my conscience wouldn’t let me sleep at night knowing we voted for the same person......ugh....I shutter the thought!
