Obama is most admired American: poll Dec 26 08:17 AM US/Eastern President-elect Barack Obama has replaced US President George W. Bush as the most admired man in America, according to a poll published Friday in the USA Today newspaper. I guess they're allowed to report this now. In seven years, I've never read that Bush was the most admired man in America.

At least Carter sounded good on the surface, Naval officer, nuclear scientist, governor of Georgia, successful farmer. He had no admitted history of cocaine use, he apparently attended an actual Christian church rather than a fake one and he was a natural born citizen.
Oh, no, when I think how Carter turned out and how much WORSE Obama appears on the surface it is enough to make me want to go and hide in a cave.

It's not the beauty that is the issue, it is what goes on "in the eye of the beholder" and it is hardly a geographically based problem.
