Gov. Palin has the charisma; imo, she does not yet have the message.

She might have it after global warming finally bites the dust.
She is all about energy.

"she does not yet have the message" Maybe she will get lucky and you will stand in for her until she gets up to speed. Start small.. what's the message?

Uh since when did libs start liking Maggie Thatcher. Sarah Palin is Sarah Palin. She does not need to compare herself to anyone. Just listen to God and do your best to not miss an “open door” as she said in her interview with Greta.

She s more like Maggie Thatcher than any American politician of our time.
Regarding message, she was severely compromised in ‘08 by coming in late, with little warning and limited independence. Her message was necessarily a mixture of rather different philosophies - hers and. McCain’s -and rather different approaches - a “pit bull” constrained by an “officer and gentleman” with a distinguished past, who seemed to have left his fight somewhere along the way. The message will be both more forceful and more focused the next time around.
The fight will, of course, be framed as Sarah versus the snobs, “fly-over” America versus the coastal elite, and it should be fun to watch.

Palin needs to dump the ever increasing socialist Republican party if she is to have any credibility as a Conservative.

Thank God Sarah is not a maggie! maggie is still the most hated women in the Scotland. I’m a strong Conservative but I hated maggie with a passion, for what she done to the Scotland and other parts of the. UK.

Why? Was it because of desire for a separate parliament? Scottish nationalism and all that? I’m sincerely curious.

This is more about allowing the media to define Gov. Palin than it is any “conservative” discord over her credentials. From far left field, I imagine anyone at the Post will appear to be conservative. If they want a real conservative viewpoint, they’ll quote just about anyone here at FR. We’re real conservatives, not some elitist Republicans amid the circle-jerk that makes up the District of Columbia.

I agree. At least, I’ve seen nothing yet that would really make me think so.

Being listed in fourth place for Time magazine's "Person of the Year," as Sarah Palin was for 2008...I don't care if Time did mention her, I still like her.

I find it astonishing the number of Sarah bashers who have turned up here in the last several months.
Some of them see an article about Mrs. Palin, and immediately post something unkind, unpleasant or just nasty.

My momma always taught me that if I couldn't say something nice, I should just remain quiet.
Some here might want to think about that old adage, maybe even put it into practice...
