We must fight a very real spiritual battle against an implacable foe who wants our souls. This on top of our physical enemies who want to kill the men, rape the women, and make our children slaves in their former country.
Unfortunately many have forgotten this in their search for secular pleasures.
Every generation in every culture thinks that their values are uniquely being ripped apart. This time is no diferent than any other.
Everyone who cares about the culture needs to read this and spread the word about what’s really going on.
What exactly does that mean ?
Yeah, point well taken, but I think the concatination (sp?) of events and circumstances that are favorable for a lefty takeover make this a most extreme and unsettling example of the ongoing battle against secular and spiritual evil.

He is aptly applying relativism. He may have a point. But the main point that this environment makes it really possible for a worldwide Stalinist state to take form at some point not too far off.

The Catholic Church has not helped by backing ACORN, LaRaza and other illegal alien groups. It just gave people who hate the church, Christians, America, honesty and morality a LOT more power.
The church and phony CINO’s (catholics in name only) helped elect the most liberal, dishonest and baby killing administration in history. Mormons and Evangelicals did a mouch better jobs as did some mainline Protestant denominations (MPD) but many MPDs are very liberal.
Evangelicals also have huckster frauds like Joel osteen and Rick Warren. Warren supports baby killing cause he loves O.
It would help if certain religious groups didn’t go outside their basic principles to elect the president.
There are many “social justice Catholics” who are no more than Marxists who hide behind the moniker of Catholic to advance their socialist agenda.
This time is no diferent different than from any other.
By definition, all times are different from any others. Point of logic.
By the way, to base an argument on relativism is to stand on quicksand.
As distressing it is to admit.....I cannot agrue against that point.

The absolute "denaturing" of the human being is the satanic motive here. This is what C.S. Lewis called "the abolition of man." We are to be merely cogs in the wheel of the Machine that the "Conditioners" alone design and control.
For a Christian to reconcile to this, to accept it, would be tantamount to a forced conversion "by the sword." Indeed, I don't see a dime's worth of difference between the Frankfurt School and Al Qaida. Both are implacable enemies of Western culture and order, willing to "fight to the death" by all means fair or foul, and very, very patient when it comes to the realization of their plans for the rest of us: They figure time is on their side.

Excellent article. Thanks for posting. Herbert Marcuse and his ilk did more damage to the United States than Osama bin Laden, though more subtle. It is revealing that Marcuse, having enjoyed a privileged life in the U.S., chose to be buried in Berlin’s Dorotheen cemetery, among the old Prussian aristocracy and more recent symbols of the East German Communist regime.
You are absolutely correct that many in every generation have thought morality and society is more corrupt than ever before and is about to collapse. Looking back we can see that most of them were incorrect.
However, just because people were unnecessarily pessimistic about the future in the past does not mean pessimism today is unwarranted.
For example, many thought Elvis and rock and roll were destructive. In retrospect, it seems they weren’t all that bad.
Today many think gangsta rap is destructive. Are they automatically wrong because parents were wrong about Elvis in the 50s?
It’s also perhaps relevant that Elvis was part of the slippery slope that eventually got us to gangsta rap. Fortunately, it appears we’re at the bottom of the slope now, since it’s hard to see how music could get any more depraved.
Optimistic counter-theory.
This didn't seem to work all that well for USSR. They controlled education for 70 years and at the end their regime just fell apart.
Apparently control of education is not sufficient in and of itself to remain in control of a society.

A VERY enlghtening video clip by a former KGB officer that defected to the US many years ago. I can’t find one thing that he says about today’s Ameirca that is incorrect.Is there any turning back? I don’t think so, not until we hit rock bottom or something drasctic happens and even then, it may be too late. Time to get out now? sigh
