It is not possible for me to think about this final act of bravery by hero Mike Spann and not tear up.

I would not be in favor of a pardon for Jihad Johnny no matter what he or his parents said, but I am absolutely speechless that their pleas were about how Jihad Johnny is a victim. No apologies. No repentance. Just "poor me" crap.
