But since Emirates is Muslim, it’s OK.
That rare case where Dubai acts like human beings, SF acts like oversexed chimpanzees..
Oh, Mark Morford’s going to get his panties in a bunch over this, isn’t he?
Then again, wasn’t the “infectious vector” for AIDS into the western hemisphere, known I believe as Patient 0, a homosexual flight attendant? I recall seeing a documentary about it years ago.
And in a muslim country, there are no homosexuals, since they kill them. And there are no “domestic partnerships” either, since the kill the woman. So there’s no way that the airline could discriminate.

Last week my Citibank Credit Card number was stolen when (I believe) I purchased some art pens off the Internet. The pens arrived OK, but the invoice said “The Persian Arts and Crafts Supply Co”, from South Carolina. That was a surprise, but when I got a fraud alert call from Citibank I was really surprised.
Someone using my credit card number made two $1 purchases from Napster (Nabster?) then bought a plane ticket for $2,400 to Dubai, on what the lady said was “Emirett’s Airlines”. I said, ‘Emirates Airlines?” I hadn’t heard of them. Someone (I believe), at the Persian Arts/Crafts Co. hijacked my CC number and passed it on to his Muslim Brotherhood buddies.
Anyway, I’m not going to have to pay the bill. Citicards cancelled my card and are issuing a new one.
Wonder if Citibank had the airline cancel the ticket?
Glad it worked out for you.
SFO is in San Mateo County, just outside the city.
One of the scariest things about the Decadence that has afflicted Western societies and whose destruction of them is well underway—and is lauded as a triumph by the degenerate Left—is the contempt for truth, honesty, and reason.
“Wonder if Citibank had the airline cancel the ticket?”
No, the fraud alert came AFTER the purchase. However, if they acted quickly, they could probably nab the crook. Citicards didn’t seem too upset about it. They’re sending me an ‘Unauthorized Usage Form’ to fill out and send back, whereupon they will launch an investigation.
They’re treating it as a cost of doing business. However, if it was my money, I’d be driving to South Carolina to talk to the friendly folks at the Persian Arts and Crafts Co.
If QANTAS had that rule, they'd have no flight attendants at all...
I figured as much about Citibank. With all the money we tax payers are giving them, they don’t care about $2,400.00.
Billions of dollars in loses and they just write it off. Crazy.
Someone needs to investigate, as you wrote, the little Persian thief company.
Good luck to you.
Interesting!
My Kroger Mastercard was compromised last week and I (the person who compromised my card) bought, or tried to buy, something from Napster and Dirt Devil.
Thankfully my CC company caught it and declined the charges.
Saw an Emirates Air jet on the tarmac last night as I landed in Houston. Seeing the Arabic writing on a known terrorist weapon was a bit unnerving.
SFO is owned and operated by the city and county of San Francisco.
It is policed by SFPD cops and fire service is provided by SFFD.
Organizations like the Boy Scouts, who have gotten so much grief from San Francisco in the past, should be able to leverage this. When the city does nothing but bow and kneel to the wishes of Emirates Air (as of course they will) it will make it easier for other groups to show that their “outrage” is selective and applied capriciously.
Equal treatment under the law, yah’know...
Emirates can still hire "pitchers" since they are not considered homosexuals in that society. Pretty much solves the discrimination problem with gays.
Rule #1: No Pooftahs!
Hah! Try flying any Asian-based airline. All have weight, height, and even hair length requirements (ever notice that nearly every attendant on Korean Air is exactly the same?).
Heck, in China and Singapore they actually TELEVISE the tryouts for flight attendants! Yes, that includes not just beauty contests (complete with shorts and t-shirt competitions), but talent competitions, interviews, etc. It's like American Idol and Miss America all rolled into one.
Of course, when you have 600 openings and 24,000 applications, they can be picky...
