So who’s gonna “repair the world” if Emanuel has to “spend more time with the family”?
That's not good.
His other politics aside, Rahm Emanuel has flat out said that getting rid of Saddam was a good thing.
Even though he was not in Congress during the war vote and even after WMD's were not found in Iraq, Rahm Emanuel did not engage in your typical political CYA cowardice. When asked if, knowing what we know now, he would have voted for the war, Rahm Emanuel replied:
"I still believe that getting rid of Saddam Hussein was the right thing to do, OK?"
We need a guy like that next to Obama for the next four years to keep Obama from snatching defeat in Iraq out of the jaws of victory and to keep Obama from getting played like a cheap fiddle by Iran.
If they didn’t get the goods on ol Rahm, perhaps it will send a chill up and down the spine of him and his dealings, as well as other “dealmakers”. And if they did get the goods on him, and want to continue to investigate him, it would seem like they may have probable cause to extend the extent of their wiretapping, perhaps within the oval office......either way, it sure is nice to see the crooks quivering for once.
As usual the Brit papers have RAHM pegged while our papers are still shilling for the Obamanauts.
Thought this was a strange story for the Times to run then noticed that it is the UK Times. Should have known our press would not be this quick to print the obvious. The American press is still in the coverup defensive lawyer mode.
