The 129 ballots that Reichert said were run through the machines twice on election night could end up being counted twice.

In all other precincts, the initial tallies from election night are treated as highly unreliable rough approximations of the actual vote, while the results from the hand recount are regarded as the absolute truth.

Only in the Dinkytown precinct, where the election night total gave Franken an additional 46 votes, does the state treat the hand recount as an error-prone joke compared to the highly accurate election night vote.

Unfortunately, Pawlenty is much like McCain, doesn’t want to offend democrats. He has his eye on 2012, and he figures if he lets Franken cheat his way into the senate, democrats will vote for him. What a laugh. Just like McCain not going after Barney Frank, Chris Dodd and other democrats over the Fannie and Freddie mess. In other words, Pawlenty is just another coward, and he won’t stand up for what is right, even if election fraud is at stake.

I heard it reported earlier today on Hannity how CNN handled the plethora of dim political/$$$$ scandals going on:

Wolf Blitzer said: "Well remember, Karen, the vast majority of political scandals of recent past have been Republican scandals"; Karen said: "That's right, Wolf"

I imagine that The One and his Dem Majorities are going to have to go to extraordinary, super human efforts to "fix" our Oh-so-broken country and I expect the media to report what a great job they are doing despite Repub efforts to ruin their heroic efforts.

And, Yes, I think the public is actually that dumb.
