Thanks for your article;
This type of education has evolved from many years back. A little censoring here and a little twisted truth about our founders and our national history.
I jolted my mind to learn who the founders were, and what their purposes were; for Harvard, Princeton, Yale etc. The men that founded these Universities would be black-balled today if they were on those campus’s; by the students and the staff.
May God help us unchain us from the mental and spiritual bonds we are now experiencing!
Saudi Arabia just bought the US Presidency for Obama, and if that doesn’t stick in your craw, perhaps asking your kids what they learned in school every day will be a wake up call. Tolerance of evil will kill this nation and everything it stands for.
Indeed. At the battle of Tours.
I believe what you said of Saudi Arabia is true. I also believe there’ll be no investigation of foreign funds going into his campaign.

Wow. Most impressive.
If those textbooks are as boring as the ones I was tortured with in school, than patriotic Americans have nothing to worry about. IMHO, no one ever learned anything from a school book.
Not in our local schools; they don't read them anyway.
“The remedy for this is fairly simple. Parents who actually have brains should challenge their kids to go direct to the primary source, i.e., for American history and government, read Washington’s speeches, The Federalist Papers, de Tocqueville, the Declaration and the Constitution, etc.”
And parents should look over their children’s textbooks, and as a group, confront the school and school board.
Remember, Obama wants his youth police. He wants "mandatory" civil service for all high school and college kids. He understands very well the key to his future and the communist party is the youth.
High school kids today, will vote in the next presidential election (if there is one). There will always be the sheeple that follow him, he's not worried about them. He knows he can't change hard core conservatives, so he won't try. He'll either marginalize them or eliminate as many as possible. But he understands the key to retaining his power, is through the minds of todays youth. They are extremely impressionable, and easily swayed. Public school kids are already in his system, and the parents of them are oblivious that their children are being wired against them. So his goal will be to go after homeschooling, because those kids are the independent thinkers, and need to be stopped or converted.
After the next election then it will be todays 5,6,7,and 8th graders who will be voting. 8 years of Obama indoctrination. Our school system will not be teaching kids how to think (for themselves), it will teach them what to think, and how to think it.
Kids won't know how to do simple math. How to balance their own check book. There'll be no need. The government will give them a little card, and they'll be able to swipe it to get their allotment of food and clothing. Shelter will be provided. Medical (what there is) will be provided. There will be no need to buy anything else, because there will be nothing else to buy.
She has some interesting friends.
bttt
In the meantime, those who want to homeschool can remember that Justice Thomas's view is that it is legal. I wish I had done it. I'm reading a book on homeschooling now that lists hundreds of Internet sites that make me want to be a kid again, and a wealth of input from homeschooling parents that make it sound like the only way to go.
Marxism is our nation's **most** serious threat. Government elementary and high schools and our colleges and universities are the Marxists’ **most** powerful and important weapon.
So?....Mountainman....What should conservatives do about it?
We homeschooled K-12, but we never used textbooks. There are so many great history books, booklets, bios, primary sources out there. The worst propaganda can be used, in a homeschool setting, as a learning tool.
My goal in hs was to teach our kid to think for himself. That is what you really want.
