Are you kidding? They already took away machine guns and REAL assault rifles. Not a shot fired. What makes you think a single shot will be fired when the take away our FAKE assault rifles? When the wittle us down to shotguns and black powder rifles, do you think the armed rebellion will happen then? I doubt it.
Sounds very similar to a diesel powered pile driver.

You know, I’d love to see plans for that bad-boy. (And build one for myself too, of course! :) )
It is still in the CAD stage right now. We also want to have the compression piston, while being driven back during recoil, drive a much smaller piston on the back side, to inject more fuel into the chamber as the projectile passes down the barrel. We plan to build a test rig to experiment with pressures, orifice (jet) and piston sizes. The plan is to have something that looks and feels like a common rifle that you fill the butt stock reservoir with diesel, pump it like an air rifle and fire away. We build and prototype factory machines for a living, so capability is not a problem.
Sweet deal, please feel free to let me know when you start testing. Also, you may want to look into making a full-auto Crew Served Weapon version (vehicle-mount)... but I’m just saying that because firing the M2 was pretty fun.
