your wasting your efforts.

I guess it doesn’t matter where he was born since his father was a british subject. He could have been born in times square and still not be natural born.

You either play the hand you're dealt, or fold." You left out the third possibility, or lose. All the bravado in the world doesn't deal you a winning hand.

Good article called
Defining Natural-Born Citizen by P.A. Madison on November 18, 2008. Some excerpts:
The adoption of the Fourteenth Amendment obviously affects how we view natural-born citizens because for the first time there is a national rule of who may by birth be a citizen of the United States. Who may be born citizens of the States is conditional upon being born subject to the jurisdiction of the United States. The legislative definition of subject to the jurisdiction thereof was defined as Not owing allegiance to anybody else.
One universal point most all early publicists agreed on was natural-born citizen must mean one who is a citizen by no act of law. If a person owes their citizenship to some act of law (naturalization for example), they cannot be considered a natural-born citizen. This leads us to defining natural-born citizen under the laws of nature - laws the founders recognized and embraced.

Even the Department of Hawaiian Home Lands does not accept a accept a computer generated printout of the Certification of Live Birth as proof for its eligibility requirements to apply for a Hawaiian home lands homestead lease. From its web site:
Applying for Hawaiian Home Lands
"In order to process your application, DHHL utilizes information that is found only on the original Certificate of Live Birth, which is either black or green. This is a more complete record of your birth than the Certification of Live Birth (a computer-generated printout). Submitting the original Certificate of Live Birth will save you time and money since the computer-generated Certification requires additional verification by DHHL."

Obama is not the first non-Hawaiian born revolutionary to have a false Hawaiian Birth Certificate. Chinese revolutionary "(wikipedia) Sun Yat-sen was born on 12 November 1866, to a peasant family in the village of Cuiheng, Xiangshan county , Guangzhou prefecture, Guangdong province", that's in China. Yet he managed to acquire a valid Hawaiian birth certificate stating he was born in Maui.
COULD Sun Yat-sen, revered by both the People's Republic of China and the Nationalist government on Taiwan, be a son of Hawaii? There's a birth certificate that says so, but even Sun renounced it in due course. It did, however, help him circumvent the Chinese Exclusion Act of 1882, which became applicable when Hawaii was annexed to the United States in 1898.
The certificate, issued by the Territory of Hawaii in March 1904, declared he had been born in Kula, Maui, where his relatives lived. As a "citizen of Hawaii" he could travel to the U.S. mainland in the early 1900s to rally both support and funds for his revolutionary efforts. Some Chinese friends attested to the birth.
His Punahou teacher, Francis Damon, certified to his good character but did not swear on the issue of birth. Damon is the grandfather of attorney Frank Damon, a major present-day supporter of Punahou.
Sun spent only a semester at Punahou in 1883. He spoke no word of English when he arrived in Hawaii in 1879 at age 13, but four years later received an English grammar prize at Iolani School, personally presented by King Kalakaua.
Sun was a notable first among Asian revolutionaries who used Hawaii to gather strength for their challenges to tyranny back home.

Not one freeper who thinks this is a waste of time has responded to my particular points, but I'll keep trying. I'm not happy that Obama won, but I know that he did win and I accept that he will be our President in January. Further, I believe Obama was born in Hawaii and is a natural-born citizen of the United States. In spite of all that, I think it is important that someone who is going to be President prove he meets the requirements that constitution states must be met to be president. Therefore, Obama should publish a copy of his actual birth certificate. If Obama is never compelled to do this, I will still think it was important that a few citizens tried to make him to do so; if Obama is compelled to does this and it turns out he is a natural born citizen, I'll still think it was right he was forced to; and, finally, if Obama turns out not to be a natural born citizen and we end up with Biden the Buffoon for President, I'll still think it was right people tried to force Obama to prove he was a natural born citizen. This isn't about Obama himself or disappointment that McCain lost or anything besides wanting to defend our constitution.

But if it can be proven that he does not qualify, his presidency will be totally invalid. Surely the Supremes can see this and know that they must act...IF it is proven I don’t see how they can avoid acting even though it will probably bring about civil war.

I don't want President Biden, but we must defend the constitution. People in the U.S. must submit verified copies of their birth certificates for less important jobs than President. My brother-in-law served in the military and still had to submit to extensive clearances to be eligible for a government job. Why should Obama or anybody else do less to prove he's eligible to be President? We should not be deterred because we fear the alternative to Obama. (By the way, I would bet all my money that Obama was born in Hawaii.)

It would thrill me beyond words should the chosen one be declared ineligble but no judge or justice in this country is going to disqualify the first person to become President through affirmative action.
