This meme is repeating the same mistake when pro-nuclear-power people claim nuclear power is safe. Then when the slightest mishap happens, the anti-nuclear crowd yells "see we told you nuclear is not safe".

The smart thing to say is nuclear is risky, just less risky than coal mining, oil refinery's, automobile driving, airline flying, bicycle riding etc based no. of people killed and injured.

As for global warming, we know with certitude it happened 10,000 years ago resulting in end of ice age. Is it happening now? It is entirely possible! But since it happened regularly in the past WITHOUT human activity, where is the proof that humans are now responsible for it?

The area in which I grew up, Northwest Ohio was entirely covered by a Glacier some 25k years ago. And, as I recall by elementary education, it had been covered multiple times before with glaciers, and those glaciers obviously receded and renewed.

But, why do I never hear this addressed ANYWHERE in the media. And, I’ve looked. The glacial periods of North America are entirely overlooked when scientist discuss this so-called climate change.

I was watching PBS’s special on the Snows of Kilimanjaro last week. It spoke ad nauseum about global warming causing the snows to retreat from the top of the VOLCANO. It’s a freakin VOLCANO and no one can figure out why the glacier is retreating? It’s a quasi-active Volcano, that by there own admission has LAVA as close as 200 ft to the surface with STEAM pouring out of the volcanic fissures and still no one can figure out why the snow is melting.

These people are FU#(*&% morons.
