And if it seems that they lack the votes to pass it in the next few months, they'll bargain for a commitment for passage later in 2009. What's the chit ?
We're about to become a banana republic rules by caudillos.

**America RIP. It was great while it lasted**
Agreed. I can’t believe that this great country, (and it used to be,) so willingly has allowed itself to be overwhelmingly invaded, and our leaders have happily supported it. The talk about giving amnesty to all these millions of people is insanity.
They want chain migration which means every one who has relatives will be bringing over their entire family. Are we going to supply them all with free health care and all benefits as Obama has promised? Imnpossible!

Throw in Idaho, maybe Utah, and keep out British Columbia (too many "watermelons"), and I think it would be viable.

Itll pass. The calls to the House on the bailout were like 20-1 against it, but they shoved it down our throats anyway. It wasn't the Conservatives in the House that shoved it down our throats. The Bakerite RINOs have been thoroughly defamed. The Reaganites ascend, albeit in minority.
The collusion between the RINOs and the Liberals is of far less efficacy if the RINOs have lost control of the Republican party.

send those Good ol' Boys in the Blue Dog Dem wing firmly over to join with the Conservative House Republicans. Good point.
Some of them even jumped ship and changed parties during the Reagan Revolution.

They sure aren’t wasting any time. Let’s see if McCain insists we protect our borders FIRST as he promised during the campaign. BTW wonder how far they’ve gotten building the wall.

You’re wrong. Amnesty will by law by the end of April.

There will be no revolution (political or otherwise). Americans will simply accept the inevitable.

The calls to the House on the bailout were like 20-1 against it, At first. Then, after it was defeated the first time, the calls became more balanced, closer to 50-50.

You know, that scares me MOST.
