I'm reading "I Heard You Paint Houses" the story of mob hitman Frank "The Irishman" Sheeran.

He says he Jack Ruby was very well connected and trusted by the mob, and strongly implies JFK was killed at the behest of Jimmy Hoffa who was Sheeran's very good friend until Sheeran had to kill him.
