“All George W Bush did was keep the United States of America safe from radical muslim terrorist attack for seven years. He didn’t get around to destroying your country yet.”

I think that is the one of the few things he did right, and I am thankful for that. On the other hand, if he had governed like a conservative, I doubt that a radical muslim terrorist would be about to be sworn in as President.

Time will tell, my FRiend. As bad as GWB was, how can you be sure that Dear Leader Barack Hussein Obama Dada (King of Scotland, Liberator of the Peoples, and Pharaoh of Egypt) will be any better?

Oh, he is infinitely worse, to be sure, if left to his own devices... But he is properly across the aisle, and there will be a principled opposition to his attempts- something absent wrt Bush and his schemes.

I am more than happy to see the Republicans lose, and GWB to scurry off. It is only by this loss, and the rightful shaming of our present leadership, that real Conservatism can have a chance to assume the control, and thereby the destiny of the nation.

I have little patience for anything but truth. The further we fall away from that truth, the more fire it will take to re-temper us and make us true once more.

I would always rather pass through the fire today than tomorrow, because the nature of such things is for the fire to grow ever hotter, and the time within it ever longer... It is high time for this to be done.

I have never loved a President and first family more. ( I was too young to pay attention to Ronald Maximus!) I didn’t always agree with him, but there is not another person on earth that I agree with all the time. He gave me hope after 9/11 and if for nothing else, for that I am eternally grateful.
PS. I’ll miss the Barney movies, especially at Christmas!

Ah yes remember when that the worse thing we had to worry about was another 911, only nuclear or with biologicals?

Those were the days huh?

The collapse of the credit markets and huge companies getting bailouts when they should be going Chapter 11 is far far worse than the probability of living under sharia law.

George Bush should have just done what the public wanted him to do after a year in IRAQ.......surrender.

Then he would be loved by all, he wouldn't have been demonized for 6 1/2 years, there wouldn't have been a movie made with him being assassinated while he was still in office and his approval ratings would be around 50% and I am quite sure this economic malaise that we are in would not have happened at all.

He was a great President IMO.

I think history will bear that out 20 years from now and beyond.

I know some delusional souls here might not want to believe it, but Iraq is the single biggest reason for the republican’s congressional loses in 2006 and contributed heavily to the republican’s unpopularity and made the defeats worse here in 2008.

I truly believe the republican party would be in a lot better political shape right now if we never invaded Iraq. But what is done is done.

I am sure the trolls will be here shortly, doing the dirty work of the Democrats.

If the MSM had told the truth about Geo W and if Geo W had jumped on the lies, his poll numbers would not be so low.

Thanks for the pics. Really enjoyed seeing them again.

Geo W kept us safe for 7 years. A little appreciation by those on the left would be nice.

I notice the trolls are already posting hateful comments. In two years they can let us know how they like 'change' as implemented by 'the one'.

Oooops, almost forgot. He is already saying that change will have to be delayed for a few years.

My thoughts exactly.

We can thank him for three things:

1.) Supreme Court Justices (Good)
2.) War on terror (Good)
3.) Obama (Very Bad)

The pictures were so warm and humorous.

Too bad his concentration for eight years was on globalism.

He’s being vilified now like most out-going lame duck presidents are, but I think history will eventually bear out that Bush saved this country—if we get to keep our freedom and the history of this great country isn’t rewritten. We have no idea how many attacks on citizens and America were thwarted due to his protectionist policies. Didn’t make us popular with the world, but I don’t care—not one single terrorist attack on our soil since 9/11, not one single civilian death at the hands of extremists. Let’s see how many we get in the next four years. I’m praying in advance for the families who will suffer losses under Obama’s rule. Osama’s already circling like a vulture.

His actions didn’t protect us from what will descend upon us within two more months.
