Unprepared as she was, Governor Palin
Palin has 3 years to prepare, on world and national issues. She can do it.

I suggest we start putting "the corrupt news agency" in parentheses after AP whenever it is used as a news source: AP (the corrupt news agnecy)

Well, if all else fails, she can always take the Bob Dole post-election route:
“Viagra can aid women on SSRIs - Los Angeles Times
Initial studies of Viagra in women were disappointing.[but] ... At the end of the study, 72% of women taking Viagra, and 27% of those taking the placebo, ...”(LA Times from Goggle)

If she had failed as badly as they claim, there would be nothing to talk about.
Me thinks the MSM threw the fish guts over the windward rail...

Pundits say that, no matter who the VP is, voters chose based on who is top of the ticket. So it came down to a choice between the OLD, experienced, war-hero, white guy (and we have had alot of those as President) vs. the YOUTHFUL, hip, inexperienced black guy (now THAT’s different!). They wanted change. Man, are they going to get it!
Admittedly, a head-to-head Palin vs. Obama matchup would have been much more interesting...especially considering how worked up they were (and still are) with her in the VP slot...

Yes, but, in 2012, she would face an opponent who has four years of experience as President of the United States. That's an experience advantage that is pretty hard to overcome. With the recent exceptions of Jimmy Carter and George H.W. Bush, American voters tend to rehire the President for a second term.
The “One” would have to screw things up pretty badly to to join the “single term” club. Obama intends to govern from the center, so I don't think that is going to happen.
2016 is the more likely election for a Presidential turnover. In the meantime, Republicans probably need to concentrate on rebuilding the party at the state and congressional levels. Let's grow a whole bunch of experienced governors (including Governor Palin) to chose two outstanding candidates from.

I agree with you. That is what I posted yesterday on a thread about Bobby Jindal running in 2012. I think he will also wait until 2010 or even 2011 until things become clear on how Zero has turned out.
As bad as economy is right now, Zero might come out looking good in 2 to 3 years simply because the economy can only get better by then.

The asshole who wrote the article is something called MICHAEL R. BLOOD. Apparently he does a lot of hit work against Republicans. He did a lot of damage to Giuliani with one of his hit pieces. I cannot find an email address for “him”, but the article is posted at Yahoo and has a comment section at the end of it, which I would bet is loaded with anti Palin comments. These comment sections need to be freeped everytime hit pieces like this appear.

Contrast this treatment of Governor Palin to the number of times the AP refers to the “impeached former President”.

But...But...Jimah carter also had 4 years experience while
the “actor” from B movies as MSM liked to describe him, had
no national resume.
