No we won't. But that alone does nothing more than ensure a bloody mess. It does not ensure the right side would come out on top, although I have faith that it would.

And as for the military and minorities, IMO, a lot but not all, join the military for the career training, not out of a strong patriotic duty. I wonder what the statistics are of minorities that make the military a career?

I don't know the stats, but based on the career military folks I work around, I'd say minorities are somewhat overrepresented.

A funny thing seems to happen (actually it's not so funny, it's planned that way). No matter why they initially join, many come to like it, and many come to internalize it's essential elements. What the West Pointers call "Duty, Honor, and Country".
