I have admired Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson for quite some time.
I am white and have had a dream that I might someday get the opportunity to attend service at a southern black church..... NOT ANYMORE.
After this past years revelations of this twisted, sick and ignorant group of folks, I wouldnt get within 5 miles of one of these hate houses. I would like to attend a service from Rev. Peterson, but I would still want to be armed.
While I will do my best to keep from joining the ranks of the racist crowd, I no longer trust the black community ( 90% of them have earned this rebuke), and I doubt that I ever will. Of course, I am disgusted with 53% of the voting public regardless of their race.

Good morning abigail!!
Good morning abigail!!
You said it: “so-called” (but by whom?)
You said it: “so-called” (but by whom?)
But So-Called by whom?
Thanks TC
Don’t despair, you can attend Rev. Peterson’s Sunday Services in Los Angeles if you live around here or pass through! 10:30 am all are welcome! Watch them on the website. They are fun and uplifting and you don’t realize what happened to you but you know you have been in a holy place when you leave.
Good afternoon blackie.

Thank you, but I haven’t visited the LA area for over 30 years, and no offense intended, I doubt that I ever will. I like you beaches, but that’s about it. ;>)
If he broadcasts his service on his website, I’ll check it out, but I suspect it wont be the same as being there in person.
Thanks again....
i think I forgot to ping you..
LOL
That sounds about right.
Thanks for that. Sadly true.
I'll say it again: the Black Church is American Protestantism's Armenian Church.
The Armenian Church ceased centuries ago to be a missionary church and became nothing more than an adjunct of Armenian ethnic identity. After the massacres of the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries decimated the Church what little theology that remained in it was snuffed out to be replaced by ethnic (often Leftist) political activism. Most Armenians do indeed seem to be on the Left.
The American Black Church was originally a real church, but the injustices Blacks suffered caused it to cease being a true church and to become, like the Armenian Church, merely an adjunct of ethnic identity. No telling how long ago this happened, either.
The Armenian Church has a liturgy that is the single most beautiful thing I have ever yet experienced in this life--an ancient liturgy in Ancient Church Armenian, heart-rendingly beautiful chants and music--yet there is no theology there.
The "liturgy" of the American Black Church is a "fundamentalist" one (lots of shouting, sweating, bellowing, Bible-banging, etc.), but the Black Church is obviously as devoid of theology as the Armenian Church.
Both are nothing more than ethnic identity clubs headed by militant lefties who don't really believe anything.
That's my opinion, harsh as it is.
Don't expect to see it get better, cause that ain't the way the that chapter (Bible) ends. Oh... but it does get better later on. I think that this infatuation with Obama will settle down, given time.
