If so, I’ll never buy an American car.

Since most of the American auto industry is owned by foreigners I assume he is talking about the big three in Detroit. I’d love to see the cars produced under government supervision. Probably weigh 300 pounds, seat 3 people, have only 3 wheels and get 4 miles to the gallon.

Frank proposing legislation to 'partly' nationalize auto industry in America! Unfreakinbelievable!

Can't have anyone competing with the government. Next come the import controls.

I wonder what happens when the government runs out of money?

Or print so much that the dollar’s value dwindles to nothing?

The cities starve and the countryside survives.

“These people just cannot wait to destroy the democratic party...

I love it.”

Me too! I just hope they don’t destroy our country first.

They may be able to nationalize the American auto companies but how are they going to make us buy their crappy cars?

BARNEY FRANK WANTS TO NATIONALIZE THE US AUTO INDUSTRY...after bringing the mortgaga industry to its knees by pushing Fannie and Freddie to underwrite loans for people who couldn't pay them back, Barney puts his fianacial savvy to work on the autos - somebody stop this guy before there's nothing left of the economy......
