I think his sentiments are misplaced. Canada, along with other civilized nations with functioning market systems, could benefit handsomely from an Obama administration. When Obama sours the business climate in America, Canada (Alberta especially) would have to do very little to poach American companies, plants, workers, and capital. As Obama slides the tax bars up, Canada would be wise to slide their tax bars down. The effective rates aren’t all that different anyway. It is America that will pay - well-positioned foreign nations can benefit so long as the channels of trade are not severed.

A lot of people are boycotting TV news, not because of any requested boycott, but because it is simply too annoying to look at the love fest.
It will have to be something of a major event for me to look at news stations again.

Too true. Even before the election I had cut back on TV news; too many commercials, too little content, annoying anchors. This election is just the icing on the cake. More and more I listen to podcasts.

we all have questions....what will become or our freedoms, the money we have worked hard for to save in 401's and what does the future hold....will they consider our 401's an offset to SS and medicare?....will everyone of us be broke when we die?
