lol!
Just because they don't report it, does not mean it is not happening:
Setting the Record Straight
Also, look here -- paying particular attention to the "In Focus" entries:
Every word uttered and deed attempted can be found here!
ping for when I’m not so sleepy
Yeah and exactly WHO in CONgre$$ was responsible for the campaign finance bill? What other name was on that shamnesty bill?
3. After 8 years when Republicans controlled all 3 branches for a significant time, we got enormously bloated government.
During the last 8 years, so-called republicans controlled all 3 branches for 2005 and 2006. TWO YEARS...that is all.
4. He failed to make tax cuts permanent.
And that is the fault of the President? That is not how our government works.
Just exactly right! So quit blaming President Bush for MeInsane's failed presidential bid. MeInsane was perfectly capable of losing the election without accusing others of losing it for him.
But it is perfectly acceptable to bash blame the current sitting president of your party.
As Piper would say,
“THAT’S AWESOME!”
Thanks for posting that. I’m looking forward to the interview with mom.
He through us under the bus along with the fence, he belongs there.
The only reason we will have a peaceful transition is because b.Hussein won. Had he lost, Kenya would have been brought to America.
Many here thought he was the second coming, not just the lesser of two evils. I voted for him twice, but only because I thought he was better than the opponents.
He has not defended our borders, nor has he been a friend to Israel.
If the campaign was a football game, the critical call came when the alleged "looming meltdown" was announced. The stench of this announcement was so strong that it still staggers my mind that nobody stopped and said, "Wait a minute.... You, Henry Paulson, just discovered today that there is an imminent economic meltdown so catastrophic that Congress needs to pass a $700 billion bailout bill by freaking Monday??"
It made no sense on the face of it, and I figured it had to be a setup. Then when Obama curiously and suddenly took a low profile I knew it was a setup. It was the Democrats' "October surprise" and I have yet to hear anybody call it what it was.
Of course, McCain played right into the scheme by "suspending" his campaign and racing back to Washington on his white horse to take charge and fix everything and.... Well, who knows what he thought he could do. It doesn't matter, because he ultimately contributed nothing to the process and only made himself look impotent.
All the while, Obama kept his distance as he quietly sat and watched and chuckled. McCain ended up getting almost no TV face time and after a day or two he bailed out (no pun) and made his way back to the debate he wasn't supposed to make. You know - - the debate Obama wouldn't agree to postpone? And congress did what it did without any help from McCain.
Ball game.
You really think there is parity between what Reagan did, and what Bush wanted?
So was Reagan, look where that went.
See Post #22 and for Iraq specifically Click Here!
which is why the Ohio Voter theft was never challenged in court before the election!
REALLY??? Then what is all this about?
Republicans sue Brunner over voting observers
Federal judge rules Brunner must check voters
Supreme Court Rules With Ohio Secretary of State on Voter Fraud Rules
President Bush sends request to check against ballot fraud to Justice Department
I’ll bet it was a set-up all the way..... from what I’ve read Paulson is NOT on the admin’s team and is a Democrat in both reality and spirit.
I’ve wondered whether McCain was also “set up” by any Democraps in Congress privately encouraging him to come back to DC to save the day when they knew he would then be undermined — b/c it made no sense for him to suspend his campaign and rush to DC unless he had reason to believe the Democraps would work with him in a non-partisan manner. Instead, we had the spectacle of a-holes like Schumer and Reid ridiculing and undermining him, which is what I would have expected.
So I do wonder whether he got private signals to “come to DC and save the day” when in reality the Democraps had no intention of letting him accomplish anything at all.
McCain’s passion for bi-partisanship led him over the precipice when there was no chance that the Demagogues would say or do anything that would allow any credit to fall upon him......
If you will recall, McCain began his campaign on "reform" not change. That had nothing to do with President Bush!
He began the REFORM Institute in 2001, funded by Soros.
He is a leader of the Republican Main Street Partnership, a bunch of "moderate" so-called republicans, aka RINOs.
He has been a mainstay of the Senate Centrist Coalition.
None of these things had a dang thing to do with President Bush!
...while the Republican candidate had little choice but to distance himself from Bush. What, McCain was supposed to defend a man ...that he had been stabbing in the back for the past 8 years?
Also see my post 122 and 134.
maybe he SHOULD have defended, supported, and lifted Bush to the high heavens rather than distance himself.
Then he would have been called a flip-flopper! President Bush has more daggers protruding from his back with McCain's name on them than any demonRAT or member of the Enemedia.
7 years no attacks George Bush is the victim of his own success. As for a friend to Israel lets not start that Clinton had Yassar Arafat in the White House more times then any other leader. Jewish people still voted in over a 70 percent clip for whoever the democrat is despite having the middle name Hussein.
No, bush does NOT suck. He’s been a a great POTUS on serious conservative issues. He took a very conservative views of critical issues such a embryonic stem cells, right to life, national defense, war on terror, tax policy, energy policy, and supreme court appointments.
Bush’s “new tone” stuff led him down paths that he should not have tread. NCLB, the education inititive co-written by Ted “The Swimmer” Kennedy is a perfect example. The bill was aimed in the right direction - demand accountability and performance in order to justify federal tax dollars. Because he had The Swimmer involved, it became just another waste of time and money in too many ways.
President Bush, along with a Republican-controlled Congress just spent way too much, too often. Many House and Senate Republicans abandoned a conservative belief in limited government and fiscal restraint. I do not recall a single presidential veto while the Republicans held Congress.
Gov. Palin is right. The “Wall Street Bailout” was a shining example of Republicans supporting something that was totally opposite of what most conservative voters thouht sould have been the answer.
Palin/Jindal 2012
LOL, yep....the first sign of a desperate pol is to invoke the “Bush’s fault” excuse.
It’s the only way to get good press these days.
