Isn't oenerous tax levied on ammunition akin to a poll tax? The 2nd Amendment is not something which only a few can afford.
But this is not an argument I have heard, though one I believe is true.
And FWIW, my fiancee bought the last AR-15 in the 3 county radius yesterday. And I have purchased about 4 guns since mid-October.
Anyone who owns guns and voted for Obama needs thei head examined.
I would also like the Death Penalty applied to those found guilty of the crime.
My wife and I were watching 20/20 on Friday night and they did a segment on gun sales going way up after the election and were talking to gun shop owners and people buying guns and they were all saying that they believed that Obama would ban guns. One of the owners even said that he sees lots of folks come in wearing Obama pins or tee-shirts buying guns.
The first thing my wife said while watching the segment is “Why are they just now saying this? It’s a little late don’t you think?”
