I have been to the bridge just west of there many times. We may have to follow the example shown at that bridge to stop the 0.
At the risk of sounding like a conspiracy nut, the recent implosion had a whiff of manipulation ... all the ingredients were there and had been for a long time - the NINJA mortgages, overvalued stocks, etc., etc. It would take a master manipulator like Soros to bring the components together at just the right time.
It wasn't just the wishes of grass-root conservatives - it was the wishes of some 80% of the voting public. People were genuinely PO'ed about the bailout.

Why not be angry at the REPUBLICANS who squandered a majority in congress, along with a poor communicator moderate President, and have practically dithered and dallied the party completely out of existance with their go-along to get-along hand reaching?
It is a problem in my societies where Communism is being challenged by Conservatism.
Communists have a lot of free time on their hands. Conservatives has jobs and kids to take care off.
We are often at a natural disadvantage.
I dont think Conservatives can get 1 million people to show up in the street angry about things, but Commies and Liberals seem to be able to mobilize with the snap of a finger. A lot of these people are careeer rabble rousers anyways.
We cleared out some of the RINO's this time and eventually we will get the rest. Yes, in many ways President Bush could have done a better job BUT one thing he did do well is he kept us safe. I am VERY afraid Obama WILL NOT do the same!

One hope that I see in G-d giving the Oval Office to constitutionally clueless Obama is that the people will be ultimately be forced to quit sitting on their hands and reconnect with the anti-Socialistic Constitution and its history. Only then will they be able to protect themselves from Socialist Obama's misguided pen.
Indeed, the Founders made the federal Constitution to limit the powers of the federal government, a big negative for establishing Socialism. And since the Constitution has been ignored for so long by big-shot federal spending lawmakers, the federal government growing so powerful through the decades without proper constitutional authorization, that the people could essentially do the following. The people could practically shut down the federal government if they insisted that Obama and the Democratic Congress start respecting the neglected Constitution that they have hypocritically sworn to defend, particularly the following statutes.
Article I, Section 8, Clause 18: To make all Laws which shall be necessary and proper for carrying into Execution the foregoing Powers, and all other Powers vested by this Constitution (emphasis added) in the Government of the United States, or in any Department or Officer thereof.The bottom line is when are fat, dumb, happy and apathetic USA citizens going to take the initiative to draw the line between 13th A. prohibited involuntuary servitude to their fellow citizens on the basis of income and use the anti-Socialistic Constitution to shut down the renegade federal government?10th Amendment: The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.
