Point of information: If Obama is disqualifies, does McCain win by default?
I think that would bve just fine for those in the IRR
I think I must have misunderstood your initial post. Giving additional training to those on IRR does make sense. I was pretty much focusing on Rahm's suggestion of a 3-mos. "quickie" program for everybody between the ages of 18 & 25.
I think we are both right in this one :)
That thought had crossed my mind. Problem is that expressing it out loud starts a lot of eye-rolling in the mushy-middle.
Anyone who has taken an employer-mandated class on “diversity” will have a good idea of what Obama has in mind. The community service will begin with an indoctrination into leftist grievance politics, and students will then be steered into forms of community service with a strong leftist political component. Hopefully, ten percent of the youth who voted for Obama will be turnod off by this process and will vote differently the next time. Hopefully.
They can roll their eyes all they want. I saw an AIT unit under Fort Eustis control produce a 100% (14 out of 14) pregnancy rate prior to graduation!
There is an idea! I wonder if volunteering time for maintenance at the local rod & gun club would fulfill the requirement?
Not that it counts for anything but I believe Rahm Emanuel served in the Israeli Defense Forces.
If you look at many of his ideas they’re similar to Israel’s.
He may have, or at least an IDF auxilary, which begs the question, why not join the US military?
“[s]ome Republicans will squeal about individual freedom,”
Ya think? Duh....Why would you think that would be an issue, if there wasn’t some validity to it?
Actually, I can’t wait to see them rounding up gang members and throwing them into this “civilian corp”. Now that would be worth the price of admission. Have you ever seen someone trying to administer first aid while being constrained in leg irons and handcuffs?
The sad thing is I found this in 20 seconds of research online. Yet our media just bows to their Obama.
I agree. The plan - as explained - has merit, imo. Of course, it’s not very likely that this is “the plan” we’re going to get.
I”m in a very conservative area. If the locals put together some emergency preparedness program, I wouldn’t mind my kids going at all. It depends on who is running the program. It depends if these programs will be locally staffed.
