Sounds like Randy knew Palin was being sabotaged by McCain’s staff and went to bat for her and try to correct it.
McCain fired the wrong staffers, but it doesn’t matter. He and his staff are no longer important.

Does not surprise me at all. Her interviews were at about that level.
She was a mistake.

No. The reason this unprovoked attack on Gov. Palin
and her family exists is that Mitt ROmney decided
he wanted his own Meadow Mountain Massacre against
America and Gov. Palin and those innocent children.
That Romney is also a fascist who imposed HillaryCARE=RomneyCARE
is probably consistent.
"I've incorporated fascist HillaryCARE and screwed everyone without a single vote.
It is so good to be Dictator."

Another thing, this gallant lady has endured the most horrific barrage of crap from the media that I’ve ever seen. And, she’s done it with class and grace. Now the rodent-like operatives within the campaign operation itself bring out their long knives. There should be a special place in hell for these people.
It’s not a statement I’ve been easily prone to make over the years, about anybody, but I want to say without question that Sarah Palin is my hero.

We don’t need moderates.
Nice try, though. You get an A for effort.

More gracious to Obama than his running mate..Well, yeah! John "Reach Across the Aisle" McPain is much more politically aligned with 0 than he is with Sarah. They're polar opposites! I am actually surprised that she ran with him.

I am convinced we are looking at the future American Margaret Thatcher. President Palin will be the first woman on Mt. Rushmore when she is done.

Yeah, that was weird.
I think it was a party for Britt’s last election night.
It would have been nice if they had shared that with the rest of us. It appeared they were more than a little tipsy.

I just got off the phone...my friend wants to know why I'm’s displaying delayed anger......I think after seeing the stock market react to Obama’s victory by crashing, I expected a little more from Fox then cheap Sarah bathroom stories.
Anyway it's official. I am no longer a Republican....and if Obama wants to be my president he has to earn that privilege.

Wow, you’re comparing Palin to the greatest President in the modern era. Please, don’t insult the Gipper.
Look, I respect what Palin has accomplished. I’m just saying that there are better, more attractive conservatives out there who can reach out to swing voters. I agree that Palin energized voters, certainly moreso than what McCain was able to accomplish. But that doesn’t mean Palin is the best candidate in 2012. Remember, Obama is the incumbent? He has all the advantages of incumbency. We need someone smart, competent, and unapologetically conservative who can match Obama’s rhetoric. You guessed it.... it’s Jindal (don’t want to sound like a broken record).
To: tango7799
there is something special about Palin.
To: csmusaret
I have it on good authority that Cindy adores her and was instrumental in having her selected.
I also know someone who works for Palin so I will be asking around this week-end for more information.

I agree, too, that she’s special. But ask yourself: is it enough to win the Presidency? Is it enough to win all those swing voters in Northern Virginia, Charlotte, NC, or Indiana (I still can’t believe Indiana is now a swing state)?
Yes, the Press has destroyed her. Yes, her treatment has been unfair. But who said politics is fair? It’s never fair. Look, the bottom line is I want to win. I think all conservatives want to win. Who is the best person that can win without sacrificing their conservative principles? It’s Jindal.

I don't believe it and I don't think many are here. Greta seems to get it, judging from her website. Cameron provided the detail that there was a question between South Africa the country and south Africa as in "southern Africa." I can imagine a legitimate question being twisted into something sounding ignorant. This is B.S.
Illinois Senator Barack Obama apparently doesn't know there is even a "southern Illinois," since he wants to bankrupt the coal industry, long a mainstay of southern Illinois economy, a part of his own state.
Is Sarah Palin exceptionally brainy? I don't know, but there is more than intelligence... wasn't Jimmy Carter supposed to be a genius? There is no doubt in my military mind that Sarah Palin gave a huge boost to the ticket and was the only reason it was as close as it was.
Did McCain want to lose? I got the sense that he has been in the Senate for a long time, and is very comfortable in the role he sees himself in -- as the guy who is willing to reach across the aisle. We don't like it, but that's who he truly is, I think, and I believe he sees that as honorable.
I felt very bad for Sarah when she was saying she was sorry if she cost John McCain one vote. She seemed sincere, and I hope she does not entertain that thought for a second. If there is a scrap of chivalry in McCain -- as I would expect to find in a naval officer -- he will come out and put and end to this garbage both publicly and privately.

It might surprise you to know that even Karl Rowe said he has not seeing anyone like her since Reagan.
