Every one I know here at U.Va. voted. The majority went for...Obama. Even quite a few conservatives.

No, it wasn’t the youth vote. It was the criminal activity of voting a hundred times by one person or more.

Those who are the most critical of America's history of slavery just voted to enslave their fellow Americans. Like the freed slaves, who's first step was enslaving the natives of Liberia, the majority of blacks in the United States have now clearly stated, “as long as it ain't me it's OK.”

It looks like they'll have to learn the hard way that on a road trip, it's not the best idea to let the insane guy drive.

They’ve been indocrinating the youth for many, many years and now it is has finally come back to bite us in the butt.

College campuses today are essentially socialist cesspools. 90% of college professors voted for Kerry in 2004.

Voter fraud may have been key to this election win.

Lowering the voting age to 18 was a really disastrous move for this country. And it’s the sort of move that can never be reversed. The great majority of 18-20 year olds in the country are not really adults yet. Most are financially dependent on parents or other adults, and are still living in an artificially extended childhood phase, in which their chief concerns are parties, trendy clothes, iPods, sports contests, etc. Most are quite naive, still very susceptible to believing fairy tales put forth by politicians, because they’re still emotionally dependent on belief in their OWN fairy tales about what they’re going to “be” when they grow up, how much money they’ll have, etc.

Obama’s campaign was so savvy to Web2.0. They’re all over YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, etc... even Ravelry. And I mean *all* over. McCain’s absence just made him look out of touch. Obama also put together better graphic design materials. ‘Make your own avatar’- type stuff *everywhere*. Web2.0 was absolutely saturated. I daresay, old-style forums like FR, with its mid-90’s format is for Web1.0 fogies. The next candidate is going to have to conquer that divide.
