What Young Conservatives Should Do Now

Tomorrow morning, begin reestablishing Young Americans for Freedom as a plolitical force. We who are YAF alumni will help you any way we can.

You must not remember details of Desert Storm and the Armistice signed between the Allies (50+ nations) and Saddam Hussein.

Less than 24-hours after signing Saddam Hussein violated that agreement by firing upon our troops. He went on to violate that armistice more than a thousand times. There wasn’t a day that went by that his military fired upon our military guarding the Marsh Arabs in the south, and the Kurds in the north. Even the UN chastized Saddam Hussein repeatedly, more than a dozen times.

We had every internationally recognized legal right to go back in and set right what we’d left undone in 1991. Such a right was spelled out in the armistice.

ADHD was a clever statement, very clever, but dead wrong!

I respect your views, but BO did pledge to increase the size of the Marine Corps and the use of special operations. My son is going into special ops eventually so he should be okay.

I expect a draft for Obama’s new Gestapo.America's first secret police force -- how frightening. And it will undoubtedly be one of Fuhrerer BO's first acts.

So he told yet another lie.

Since I don’t have a son on the front lines, I will defer to you on the matter.

I am from a military family, and did a brief stint in the Navy myself.

God bless you and your family.

Great minds think alike -

STOP GIVING YOUR CHILDREN TO THE MILITARY. Don’t let them join or reenlist. The liberals are going to cut the military budgets and the troops will suffer. Too many at the top are closet liberals - power happy and willing to feast at the government trough while screwing over those who depend on them. Just ask Colin Powell. Let the liberals send their children to the front lines. If they want to play referee in Bosnia or Darfur, they can do it without our kids. If your children want to be patriotic, tell them to go apply for an air traffic controller position. They will have thousands of openings with all the retirees, it pays a good wage and they are hiring kids with excellent GPAs right out of high school. Take the job at age 18 and retire at 48 with a government pension. Added bonus: it’s like playing video games all day long and nobody’s shooting at you! Or tell them to become teachers so we can start taking back the public schools, the real front lines. NOTE: Please do take your children to the local gun range and get them to marksman level. Let’s create our own civilian army.

What young Conservatives should do is this: Read and watch the current events and call up your representatives and senators!!

I'm in the military. The good thing about being in now is that we are insulated from the economic goofs to come. If it bothers you that much. Go active Guard, I might.

I'm 43. I was active duty from 85-89 and a reservist from 94-01. I'm now past the age where it's my problem. This is simply my advice. National Guard might also be a good idea, yes.

Nothing earked me more than a liberal mom in a minivan with Impeach Bush Stickers, Out of Iraq, and Save Darfur.

I didn't have the heart to tell her the last two had a common theme and thug enemy, but that was to hard for non-critical thinking brain to get her arms around....

My fear is that they'll be used for activities meant to advance the UN agenda, not the US.
