Eeyore is a character in the Winnie-the-Pooh book series. He is characterized as a pessimistic, gloomy, depressed, old grey stuffed donkey who is a friend of the title character, Winnie-the-Pooh. Let's not be him!
Be of good cheer today, my fellow Freepers. Our hard work is done. Beware the false network calls for a winner. Be of good cheer, and . . . Vote Baby Vote!

Remember Florida panhandle 2000.
Remember Ohio 2004.
Go vote. Even in a safe state. Even in a lost state.
I voted in NY this morning. I was happy to hear about the thousands of people lined up around the block, not that their votes will affect the EV outcome.

I've never been an Eeyore and won't be one now....its just that at times Freepers have panicked over things they can't control. Take a deep breath and calm down. Should things go the way its predicted here tonight, I will watch the election coverage later just for the pleasure of witnessing the MSM get its comeuppance. Which in my opinion it richly deserves - in spades!!!

The networks can call Obama the winner all day long! I don’t give a crap! The same thing happened with Kerry!
I will be voting McCain/Palin after work around 4:30 p.m. in L.A. Just say NO TO SOCIALISM!....
To: BAW
Will Drudge truly do that? Will he also be suppressing Republican votes by trying to be the first to project Obama wins?

I don’t know about the article’s conclusion about the results, but I agree with everything else. I’m not expecting to start getting reliable results anytime before 7 or 8PM tonight. Until then, all exit polls, predictions, and media coverage are worse than useless, intended only to mislead.

Rush is saying to IGNORE the exit polling...ignore the reports from PA & CO. The Drive-Bys will try to call the election by 2 p.m. so tune them out and vote!!!

...Drudge Report mark our words is going to run that flashing red/blue siren he loves to report McCain losing all sorts of traditional Republican states around midday...12:35pm Eastern and no siren.

Love HillBuzz, they have been stalwarts in this fight this election season. Eeeyoreism was at a critical code red level last night here with all too happy Debbie Downers posting the Karl Rove article multiple times. We are looking at a few 100 thousand votes across the WHOLE country to make a difference this election. To get all down in the dumps over something that something that hasn’t happened is silly.

The snippets of news coming out about NO big Dem Voter ID advantage being observed in Early Voting in many states is giving me some hope, here.
And the reports of BIG, BIG turnouts in Rural America could undo EVERYTHING the Obama Media has tried to do!
